How do you make a game that comes out in 2021 and not make it for the new consoles.

More advanced ssd, but less advanced gpu. $499 seems probable
They are probably going to stress lower resolution. The console will have a capable CPU and SSD, so they can likely hit higher framerates on games that arent gpu heavy.
Advertise it to be fast at 1080 or 1440p

Those are leaked, but the other aspects of that leak have all come true.
These consoles will both pack great value for their price, but $600 looks a lot less attractive now.
Hopefully they both come out at $500.

The issue behind everything is that Apple treats gaming differently than other kinds of entertainment.
Why do they have to review every game on a streaming service if they don’t have to do the same for music and movies/tv shows.
There are rating systems in place for a reason. Apple says they want to “protect” their consumers. A bunch of bull is what it is. Reminds me when Sony said they didn’t want cross platform play so they could protect the kids

Right now they are dropping the ball. MS has games on the way but they are so far out, they literally don’t know what to talk about or show.
Delaying halo was a massive blow to their PR and now it kinda feels like they are lost and don’t know what to do.

Kinda odd if the disc version has 825 and the disc less has 2tb. I don’t believe Sony would screw over disc users like that.
$499 isn’t “hefty” considering the power and ssds these machines are packing
The problem is not the art style, it’s the fact that the character models look last gen.
I understand it’s a studio that normally doesn’t get to work as the lead studio, but maybe this is why.
