Nothing wrong with being excited for the game but when you say "if this were a PS4 or a Switch game" it makes you sound like a fanboy imo. Plus, it's already happened with PS4. People were pumped about The Order, then gameplay was shown and people started to worry about it before it even released. I'm sure you can find instances of it happening with Nintendo as well, maybe not the Switch in particular but Nintendo has had the same thing happen. If I'm not mistaken I thin...
FF12 was the last one I really liked
Yeah probably. Though I at least hope maybe the PC version will be able to reach that level of visual fidelity
Is that going to be another metric that they start touting then? "Gamers lost track of over 950,000 hours due to immersion on the Xbox One X in the first week!"
I just want direct input support and crossplay with the console players
Odd. I didn't say it doesn't still sell.
I'd give MS a W for their conference. They had a conference anyone can watch no matter if they game on PC or PS4 only because 98% of all the games they had you will be able to play on PC and PS4. I think that's great for all gamers. For example a PS4 only gamer could have watched their conference and been excited about the world premieres of games they will be able to play on their console, either on the same day as the Xbox release or at some point down the road.
O...
Lol wow, and the sad part is people will actually believe this. Mike Ybarra should have the soul smacked out of him for saying something so idiotic.
I agree. I thought it was a pretty lackluster conference, but then all the the conferences I've seen this year so far have been pretty lackluster. The problem I had with Sony's was that although they had gameplay of exclusive titles that appeal to me more (and I mean actual exclusives that I can't play anywhere else or aren't timed) it was largely a retread of last year's E3 and still with no solid release dates for the major first party titles they showed (I'm not tal...
If this is true why did MS differentiate? The announcer says "exclusive" for games that read both "Xbox One Launch Exclusive" and "Xbox One
console exclusive ." If that were true why the different wording for what would be the same thing? Steve Gaynor's tweet has made it even more confusing
Devil is in the details
Lol right? That was an absolutely bonkers statement. I can't take this review seriously
Good info, thanks! I was especially wondering about the DirectInput support
@Vasto
"Still does not change the fact that Project Scropio will be the CONSOLE with the best versions of multiplats."
Ah, that's what I was waiting for. I'm glad we could finally see eye to eye. It will likely be the best console version of multiplats, but your comment stating "nothing competes with Project Scorpio," that is false. I'm glad we can both agree.
And your initial comment mentioned nothing about the co...
@Vasto
Nothing competes with the Scorpio? Weird, because my PC not only already competes with the Scorpio but it downright trounces it :/ You can talk about upfront costs of a PC vs the upfront cost of a console but it's essentially a known fact that the PC pays dividends over the long run compared to consoles.
Running from Xbox One OG to Xbox Scorpio won't save you from reality.
PC version for me.
I also can't wait to see those Digital Foundry videos.
I'm planning on getting it on PC. I just hope the player base remains decent there.
I'm glad that this game is coming to PS4. Hopefully it comes to XB1 as well to increase the potential for profit. I've played both betas on PC and although there were issues with it that I'm hoping they fix in the final release it was still a pretty fun game. It's a very fast paced hero shooter with some cool concepts. It had a learning curve on PC but once I got the hang of it it was a great time.
The thicc is ridicc
@obidanshinobi
Again, you claim there's a narrative doubting XB1 exclusives but it hasn't been exclusively happening to the XB this generation. I named an example of it happening on PS4 and Wii U (an example for the Switch is a bit more difficult since it's still a new system) and I'm sure there are more. The examples I gave are just the ones that immediately come to mind. I just find it strange that you think it's XB specific.
