I don't have a PSVR but I have an Oculus, and I gotta say that as someone who was lukewarm on VR, indifferent and always the guy going "ugh, VR stuff" during VR segments at gaming presentations, after finally jumping in this season and experiencing it I would consider myself a proponent of VR now. There are some pretty damn cool experiences to be had with VR even in its current state that traditional gaming can't do right now. I love it.
Hellllll yeah, it will eventually be time to get the ol Ravens nest back together
Hmm. Should a eulogy be written for them now or later?
I'm digging a lot of those cosplays. And yeah I'd stick it
Moment of silence for Lawbreakers, may it rest in peace
I didn't have a CPU issue but mine freezing, loading extremely slow, and eventually crashing because apparently it doesn't play nice with Afterburner if you're using the OSD. Once I disabled Afterburner it worked fine enough though
I still have the original PS1 game, such a great entry in the franchise
PC version still looks best but the 1X version comes close for the most part, at least judging by this video. I'd be curious to see what DF uncovers with a more thorough look
Wait, is MS trying to imply that a rig with an i7 6700K/GTX 1080 is equal to an Xbox One X for 4K/60? Lol sure Microsoft, sure
I agree, however it doesn't mean every developer can pull it off well
Nice! First Titanfall 2 now Battlefield 1 releasing so close together on EA/Origin Access. Can't wait to play it...after I finish Hellblade though
As long as it supports uncapped framerates on PC as well I'm good.
Edit: Just looked further into it, looks like it will support uncapped framerates on PC, nice!
Nice, just checked Origin and they're already advertising it coming to Origin Access on August 1st as well.
Edit: It's available on Origin Access now as of this edit.
Same here. After years I let my sub expire a few months ago and haven't missed it yet
Judging from the trailers they've shown so far you can at least go fisticuffs. I also think I remember seeing him use some sort of shield looking thing he to bash some enemies during a combo.
Hoping we do see more weapons though
Same here
You're right, DSR does make an image look clean, but I typically only use it if I'm not happy with the AA options of a game. DSR I always found to be a good way of getting good AA since it's basically supersampling the image, then downsampling it to whatever your native display is. Fortunately for me, a 1440p native resolution along with some of the highest quality AA keeps the image I see looking really crisp and clean already while maintaining frames well above 60fps.

What would make the graphics better beyond already running the game at the highest visual settings possible unless mods are involved?
Also totally disagree on your statement of anything over 60fps being a waste of resources. Personally I notice a massive difference between 60fps and 165fps, and this is coming from someone who has a 165Hz display. 60fps is fine but it's not like 60fps is some sort of max framerate where no one notices the difference in smoothness or resp...
My PC is capable is running the game at 4K/60...but it won't be. Instead I'll be running it at 1440p with the framerate getting as close to my monitor's 165Hz refresh rate as it can get on max settings.
Nice!
