@opinionated I don't understand your example. If you put a game like SF5 on PC and PS4 it's now also on Xbox? How is that when it would still not be a part of the Xbox ecosystem unless it were in the Windows Store? I can see where you're coming from with the rest of your statement though

Interesting article. I'll say though that I'm one of the people that doesn't use the Windows Store to play their games. It's not because I think it's nefarious like some people, I just don't use it because I think it sucks and I'll be happy to use it just as soon as I feel like it doesn't. Props to MS for the W10/Xbox Play Anywhere thing though.

I agree. I would care more if it weren't locked to the UWP but oh well. People talking about MS taking care of PC gamers when the games on it have had silly restrictions, poor optimization, and what I feel like are bloated performance requirements for a console quality experience on UWP. I wouldn't say I'm all out boycotting because I'd actually use UWP if it weren't garbage. Until then though, I won't be using it.

I'm tempted to pick this one up since I've had nothing but good experiences with MSi cards but I'll be going for either the Strix or Zotac this time around because I want to try out cards from different board partners

XII is definitely in my top 5 favorite FF games (played every main FF, IV through XIII, and XIII was the only one I didn't finish). XII wasn't my all time favorite but it was definitely up there for me. I even have a FF XII-themed TE stick
My last cards were MSi and they ran great. I'll be trying out the Strix 1080 this time though since I've also heard good things about them and I like how they look aesthetically.

I imagine they still have some time to improve the framerates and make tweaks here and there. I think the resolution for each console in the beta will stay as they are in the final release though
I'm playing this game with a single 980 on Ultra at 1440p and manage 60fps in most cases. It drops to ~45fps from time to time but it seems like it may be doing this because it's streaming in textures. It also doesn't look like the beta supports multi-gpu rigs, or if it does then the scaling is atrocious because I have two 980s and one it seems is extremely underutilized (like 5%) , so I'm basically only getting the performance of one (To note though, both my 980s are factory ...
Such a shame how that game released because mechanically it's such a solid fighter :/ well it'll at least have legs in the tournament space
