The pattern's become pretty predictable-Microsoft makes a wildly unpopular business shift, takes a bunch of heat, then Sony follows suit after. Everything Microsoft is doing now will become standard for Playstation over the next 2-3 years.
Has to be taken in context of platform. All start with a different handicap. Indies, VR and Nintendo are usually given extra leeway.
Well the engine didn't launch til 2022 for one.
That image of the tech director standing a foot in front of two stacked 50" displays pointing out the differences is this whole gen in a nutshell.
Don't know if Apple should be the gold standard for how companies set their pricing.
This site is 90% soft, triggered conservative dudes. Just take a look at their idols and all the whining makes sense.
Yeah for all the good stuff Sony's made over the years, they've never been a company that's executed some devious masterplan. A lot of that random left field stuff lead to many of their biggest failures.

By all accounts it seems to be a fairly straightforward souls-like(ish) with a good presentation and fair amount of technical issues. People are latching onto the fact that it's outpacing Elden Ring etc. It's kind of like finding out the most followed artist on Spotify is Indian.
Which is apparently struggling to run with a 4090, so definitely leaving some questions about console performance.
The kind of hard hitting insights you only get from a Harvard grad.
An announcement for a potential upcoming rumor cycle.
Really an incredible bag fumble by Sony here. A sequel to a beloved multiplayer mode of a beloved franchise. This should've been a lay up that printed money for them. Only potential silver lining is that ND isn't stuck in GaaS development purgatory for the next 10 years supporting it.
Sony can't afford to release duds.
Seriously, what in the QAnon is happening in this thread?
