Because Sony couldn't afford them

If Microsoft developed and distributed a vaccine for covid, Sony's fanbase would bitch about the syringes not having haptic feedback.

Same-had to keep a little bag of those replacement caps on hand to swap them out. Not sure what material they could use instead for durability.

@Zeeb

I felt the same way until my PS4 controllers started dying after 3 hours. Being able to swap rechargeables is a better system long term.

Forget the slim, we need a short model. A slim with this much surface area would take flight when the A/C kicked on.

Square and Konami are comparable in terms of value, but T2 is in a totally different league. Their revenue is about 15x the other two.

Can pretty safely say no. Aside from the fact that Take Two is a public company, their current value is around 19 billion. Playstation earns about 2 billion in profit per year. For comparison, Rockstar profits about 1/3 of that as a single developer.

@neutral

Just a quick note-Sony's financial services division is generally their most profitable. PS has far more revenue, but is really expensive to run. Their financial reports are a little funky to read, but I can't imagine them cannibalizing that many of their divisions to funnel billions into acquisitions for gaming. Makes sense for Microsoft-trying to own the game subscription space-but there's virtually no reason for Sony to buy studios that are going to ...

@Aspiring
Dan Houser literally made a statement a few months back that they're shelving GTA for a while because of the current political climate. That Rockstar was worried about the social repercussions of making another game now.

Because Bungie was responsible for all of the bad design choices. People just blamed Activision cause it was easy.

To grab their attention so they don't get bored? I think for games (especially a huge open world like this) it can feel exaggerated knowing you have a 60+ hour campaign ahead of you too.

MS/Nintendo paid to have a site give it an 8/10?

Oh god that inventory system...

I wouldn't mind if they cut down the size of the map and made all building interiors accessible. Although I suppose you could argue that would make the playable area larger.

@aconnellan
It's 2018, if you're not an investor in Microsoft/Sony can you even call yourself a real gamer?

I mean, to be fair, they've done platforming (Crash series/arguably Uncharted) and a fighting game (Way Of The Warrior).
