You will see all of these franchises next generation.
$70? Try at least $100.
I think at this point Nintendo has cemented its public perception as a casual family brand. Will be near impossible to break free of that image given the Wii's audience this generation. It's like Spy Kids 2 going for an R rating.
It's like Metamucil for internet
Haven't read why Windows 8 is hard to develop for yet, but I'm guessing it'll be another PS3 situation. Developers will complain, but eventually they'll have to go for it. Just a matter of how long they decide to put it off.
Watching someone play Zelda first thing in the morning is actually really soothing.
Surprised people are still talking about this. I'm almost convince that anyone that had the same console break twice or more on them was doing something wrong...playing it inside a trash bag or something.
Yeah I'd say $199 is a good bet. Either way it'd compel me to pick one up. I feel like fighting over first place this late in the generation is kind of meh though.
By the time the next generation starts I'd figure MS and Sony will both have their respective current gen consoles at $150. Maybe a final drop next fall or so depending on when the PS4 and 720 release.
I get happy whenever I see JC2 get love...even though it did well, it still deserves more attention.
Depresses me too. Some of my best gaming memories are after buying a game and reading through the manual on the way home. Would be so damn excited after reading everything.
I approve
A new generation? To discover GTA? Through a purchasing method that requires most people use a credit card?
Anyway, Bully 2 is one of the games I've been waiting most for...
How about Panau? As soon as you kick back on the beach, some suave, South American asshole tethers your family to a helicopter, flys up to 40,000 feet, jumps out and parachutes into the sunset as you plunge to your death.
Digital looks terrible? You mean there's no grain and everything looks glossy and detailed right?
Unless it's being shot on 70mm, film<digital.
Now all we need are 60fps movies to start gaining traction...
Has cheese written all over it.
Yeah I'm smelling some possible bullshit.
No shit consoles aren't dead, what the hell kind of ridiculous article is this?
The last few years of Wii kind of prove that point.
Duh it was delayed because of Halloween. People are gonna be out trick r' treating and won't have time to buy games...
Well Sony's in a shitty place financially as is, the last thing they need is a failed console launch put them out of business. Microsoft doesn't have quite as big of a problem. I figure the next Xbox will come out next year with Sony releasing the PS4 a year or so later to address any issues Microsoft encounter.
