God I remember playing Doom 2 with lights off...constantly looking over my shoulder...
I actually feel like Nintendo's put themselves in the poorest position possible. They'd probably have an alright time if they either went completely back to the core gamer or to the casual gamer. Instead they're kinda in the middle now...too expensive for most casuals to consider and too casual for core gamers to care.
