I disagree because they did this all rather quickly while making L4D 2, Alien Swarm, updating Steam, making Steam Mac, and getting involved with DotA2. All PS3 games from Valve use OpenGL.

In case you just don't know....OpenGL does everything DirectX can do including Tessellation and as far as the AMD drivers (what an Urban Legend) AMD constanly updates their drivers to make sure they are OpenGL and DirectX compatible. Not too mention they are co...

I want 20 hours of single game play. i never want to be able to finish a game in a single sitting. I like doing all the side quest especially when they change the story. I love open world games and I literally walk around every square inch of an open world game just to find everything and kill everyone.

FPS = 15 hours unless it has a Superior MP then 6-8 hours is cool.

Let's all go back to late 2005 when I first heard about Crysis and seen a screen shot. Basically the same way i felt when I saw Battlefield 3. OMFG!
2007 Crysis comes out and my PC can not run it. can't even install it. so I spend some cash just to barely play it. Warhead comes out and runs some what better but it would be almost 2 years before I could run Crysis totally maxed out at 1920 x 1080p.
the point is that Crytek pushed PC Gaming graphic...
Remember folks Macs use OpenGL and Valve so far has had Zero problems porting their entire library to Apple and Portal 2 will release on Mac and PC at the same time as well as Valve's new releases from here on out. OpenGL is only difficult if your development team lacks the talent which is the case for most teams when compared to Valve and their 250 TOTAL employees (midnight cleaning crew included).
OpenGl is virtually the same as Directx except it is a little more diff...

So much hype with so little hope as the week one sales figures were worse than Killzone 3. Bulletstorm sucks. looks good but has no value after 10 minutes of game play.
the review just pulled a bunch of corny one liners from Bulletstorm which is NO WAY in the same league as Duke Nukem.
And as they say that a huge migration from WOW to Rift has begun. So many new players Trion Worlds have been scrambling to get more and more servers up as they hit 1 million gamers Day 1.
I think blizzard likes the fact that another quality MMO is out with a big name but Runescape, Eve, Second Life, Planet Calypso, Maple Story, Guild Wars, Lineage, Vindictus, LOTR, and many more all have huge followings.
Hate to say it but I'm sure he plays on a lot of Poker sites for practice. PC Gaming it's every where.
