Are you kidding me? Is this the same ninja game that was rumored to be coming to PS3? I was hoping it was something along the lines of Shinobi or Ninja Gaiden, not some whack-a-mole game. Sounds like a PSN title.
That graphics on this game are just mind-blowing. I posted the trailer on facebook and it's got everyone excited. You see something like this and wonder, "Did Bayonetta even come out this year?" Not to get off topic, but God of War III makes that game look like last gen title.

I like it going back to the old days with 2D and all, but I wish the graphics were better. Someone had posted this picture a while back. I would have loved the style in that pic more. I'm not knocking the Wii, but could it even produce those types of graphics for a 2D side-scroller? I mean it's the lowest common denominator of the three consoles. Wasn't sure if it held back the graphical prowess of what this game could have been.

You're right raztad. This game and Bayonetta had mediocre graphics in my opinion. They say the game runs at 60 FPS, but look at the graphics. The character models suck and there aren't that many enemies onscreen at any given time. I'm sorry, but this is a slap in the face to God of War fans. I'd much rather see Sony advertise God of War III or Heavy Rain than EA doing this CG ad for a game who's in-game graphics don't even look anywhere near CG. I had a Rent one get one free game coupon from Blockbuster and used it to rent Darksiders and Bayonetta. Darksiders was the better overall game in my opinion. I had read all the reviews about Bayonetta but didn't think it was that bad until I played the game myself. When you're in heated boss battles and you're trying to quickly hit the menu to mix and use a concoction for health of skill, the loading becomes more than annoying. Same here. They haven't yet given a reason why one should hold unto the old one. I'm thinking it may be that it may be some down-loadable pack of costumes or whatever may be free for previous owners. If that's the case, it may just look for your old save game file. In that case, you wouldn't have to physically possess the game unless Capcom wanted you to mail it in or something.
The game is really good. I rented it due to financial constraints. I don't know what X-Play and this reviewer are somking. I enjoyed my play-through with it. I'd give it an 8.5. Th graphics are pretty good, better than Bayonetta in my opinion.

Same here. I the game is definitely a lot better than the demo. It's really unrivaled so far gameplay wise in the depth of combos and stuff. However, the graphics are suck for a game this far along in this generation in my opinion. Look at the background, the grass, shrubs, etc. The textures look no different from that in DMC4 and that game may look even slightly better in some cases. It looks ok, not stellar. I wish it had better textures. For example, take the pic with the main character posted up against a with the other 2 soldiers on the screen. What the heck is up with tht almost PS1 quality texture on the wall to his left and the last generation textures on the soldiers in that same pic.
