Thank you! A truthful reviewer that finally points out the annoying aspects of this game.
I know this is off topic, but did you guys look at the Bayonetta background on that site? If you did, did you notice what that statue on the left had its hands on? Umm yeah. What the heck?
Felt the same way. I was expecting to see the trailer too.
I felt embarrassed after watching the video. I can only imagine the player watching the video by himself with no one around. Would you imagine what his friends or anyone else would think of him if he showed this to them? Moreover, the music was awful and so were the movements. Compare this seizure this character is having to the strip show in Saboteur and that strip show beasts this video in every way. Those women are anatomically correct, the musics is on point, and the choreography is li...
I see I'm not the only one not really impressed with the graphics. The fluid motion ta 60fps is nice, but the character models could use some work. The textures could be better. Assassin's Creed 2 has better graphics and considering all the stuff that game has on screen with multitudes of people in addition to the environment and textures on the building, this game could definitely have looked better.
It's working. I got one of my friends to get one after he saw the commercial for Modern Warfare 2 and Blu ray. He ended up getting 2 of his friends to get one as well. All in the time span of a week!
Is there a way to tell Capcom this? I mean we all said it about Ryu, but nothing was done. I don't know if they were aware of the public's negative reception to Ryu's art style though.
Graphics look awesome! I wonder if there's any gameplay footage. I hope it's good cause I'll pick it up.
Glad to see that they're adding new stages as well and music too! I wish those scans were bigger though.
I seriously wanted to buy this game used but no place had a used copy. I had traded in my COD4 and some other games for Tekken 6. Wish I hadn't now. I called a gamestop store and was given this nerdy reply: "Modern warfare 2 was the biggest game launch in videogame history. We're not gonna have any used copies for a while." I was like who let this nerd out? Anyway I ended up using a best buy coupon to get it $15 cheaper. I should have bought shares in Activison like I did with Tak...
I would shop around for a deal on it. I wouldn't buy it at full price. I traded in some old games for mine.
It's funny you guys mention CNN. I don't think they noticed it. I think it was either yesterday or on Friday that CNN talked about the impending release of this game coming out and how it is estimated to make $500 million in sales in the first week alone. They also showed scenes from the game but none of the airport scene or even any mention of controversy.
Seriously, this game has so many jaggies it's annoying. I'm surprised at the quality of this title. I don't remember Soul Calibur IV having this much aliasing. I got it yesterday after trading in some old PS3 games for it.
Will this include Tekken 6? I sure hope so!
I noticed Sony is advertising the heck out of this game on all the NFL games today on FOX and NBC. Good job Sony! Glad to see this game getting the recognition and advertising it deserves.
LoL! I couldn't stop laughing after reading your comments about that guy's squeaky voice and watching the video. That was hilarious. lol
Yeah. Would be great if the in-game graphics actually looked close in detail to the CG seen in that video.
Does anyone know if the current game's in-game graphics are the same as the PS3 demo last year? I know there's been a lot of debate, but is there a clear census on this game current in-game engine looks like compared to the PS3 demo?
At least the good thing out of this, if one can say that is that SE knows that everyone is on there case and gamers aren't accepting bull. Gamers these days are pulling the attention of dev much more than in previous years. Hopefully, this will influence those devs to wise up. This game is going to be heavily scrutinized once it's released just for the fact of all the controversy surrounding it.
It's actually South Korea. Did many of you guys criticizing Korea even read the whole article? South Korea is into gaming in a very big way, especially online. They could be compared to Japan in a lot of ways, especially the young adult culture. They're complaining that stage looks like China, even the characters look and dress in Chinese attire in the background. There are no towering buildings or people in the background representative of South Koreans.
