This is unnecesasry on Sony's part. 512MB? For What? Will developers use this memory in game development? If so, that a pie in the face to all those buying a current PS3 or who currently own onw.

I downloaded this game and had my family check it out. There jaws hit the floor. My dad kept asking if he was watching a video. He was amazed at the people on the track and kept asking if they were real or in-game. He was also amazed at how realistically they moved, talked, walked, and ran around the track. I have to agree about EA's laziness and thier quality of titles. Wasn't there an article on here last week of some group attacking the qaulity of EA's games. As far as hip hop and EA, look at all the BIG series games. Notice that all the soundtracks are completely hiphop. Hey I like hiphop more than most other music genres, but it's the truth. Look at Def Jam game series with Jacob the Jeweler, you can even by hip hop apparel in the in-game stores for your character. EA knows what they're do...
As for the ground textures, you forget the fact that those pics are taken while the game is in motion. It's like a motion blur effect. Try looking at the textures when you stay still for a second when playing the game. From firsthand expereince the groudn textures look very good.
I guess with that said, you can take your PS3 back to the store where you bought it from and get your money back. If you read the the whole review, you would see that it stated the game was ported ie. not built from the ground up for PS3. I agree with DJ. Those are all in-game graphics. I downloaded the demo. My freinds and I loved it. As soon as you crash, you can watch the replay of said crash. I find it funny that THAMMER1 compares aspects of this game to N64 and downplays the physics. Have you read IGN's or Kikizo's previews? I agree with you TopGamer. It really is expensive no matter how you look at it. Factor in getting a 720p tv over the regular SD tvs that most people have and that's an added cost.
