Correction: If you own the hardware you are allowed to put your own software on it as long as your software does not contain any trace of copyright protected code. That is not the case however. The people creating custom firmware are not creating it from scratch. Do you have any idea of how long that would take? They are modifying Sony's firmware. The bulk of the code contained within the custom firmware is actually Sony code.

There was nothing prohibiting Dead Nation from having voice chat from the start. Slate91 is correct. Voice chat should be a staple in multiplayer enabled games by now.

The rating was given by an objective party. The publisher does not get a say in the rating of a game because the publisher has a biased position. That is the reason why we have objective parties rate the games.
If you disagree with the PEGI rating you have the right as a consumer to just not buy the game.

Well this is good for the people who were waiting for it. I probably would have purchased the map pack a month ago, but I have moved on to other games. I don't see myself purchasing the map pack presently.
