Being male dominated, immature, and perverted does not seem to be holding the porn industry back any.
They never "went after" the IP addresses that were linked to George's blog. They merely used the IP addresses in an attempt to establish California jurisdiction.
Besides, wouldn't those IP addresses be part of that whole "free information" concept that the hackers have a hard on for? Surely a group of hackers dedicated to freedom of information and expression would not consider their own privacy to be an exception. Right?
I do not feel terrorized. What an idiotic thing to say. They are using scare tactics on Sony, not me. I am just caught in the crossfire (as the apparent collateral damage that I am).
Do you understand now or do you need me to type in smaller sentences?

Terrorism
"The systematic use of terror, especially as a means of coercion"
They are using fear tactics to get what they want. Make no mistake about it, these hackers are nothing short of cyber terrorists.
What about standing up for consumer rights? What happened to that? Oh that is right, they were never standing up for consumer rights. They consider us collateral damage in their quest for attention.
If George Hotz loses his civil case there is nothing stopping the DA from filing criminal charges after the fact. Also, if he is found guilty of evidence tampering (hard drives) or perjury (he never heard of SCEA? really?), then he could face criminal penalties.
I would hope that said Twilight fan would come at me with some kind of content argument. Hell, tell me that you like Twilight because you have always fantasized about being a sparkly creature of the night and I will accept it as a valid justification. Just don't tell me it is good because other people bought it too. Justifying your purchase based solely on the fact that other people bought it is something a sheep would do, if a sheep could justify anything.
Tell me that y...
I wonder why gamers care so much about sales? Movie enthusiasts don't argue over sales. Car enthusiasts don't argue about sales. Sports fans don't argue about how many stadium seats on either side are sold. Gun nuts don't argue about sales. Book fans don't argue about sales. Wine connoisseurs don't argue about sales.
Why do gamers?
Hmm, I did know about spectators throwing stuff at you, but I guess I never watched any videos involving running over people. I can see your point in that case.
What is dark about it? The game has you racing in a dangerous, chaotic environment with fracturing ground and falling buildings, but it is not like you are driving over babies in the street or kittens are falling from the sky.
In criminal cases the burden of proof is always on the state, but in civil cases the burden of proof, which is initially on the plaintiff, can in fact shift to the defense. The plaintiff wins if the preponderance of evidence favors the plaintiff. That means that the judge or jury only has to believe that it is probable that the defendant caused damage to the plaintiff.
No jail time unless he is later found guilty of evidence tampering or perjury. It would be hard to prove the latter of course, but I don't believe for a second that he had no knowledge of SCEA.
That is why Amazon is pretty much my exclusive retailer for video games. Come to think of it, Amazon is pretty much my exclusive retailer for just about everything.
It only has to receive a GOTY award from one publication or website to get a GOTY edition, like Borderlands. Just saying...
There really isn't much point to buying the DLC mods and karts. I can see buying the creation items, but with a community making practically infinite mods and karts I am sure you can find something you would like to use, without buying the official stuff.
Batman: Arkham City is a multiplatform title, and online passes are also used on the Xbox 360 versions of games, so...
I am sure he meant to type "Too bad the PS3 doesn't get 1GB of extra storage.".
So the Xbox 360 is freeing up 1GB of the security layer for the DVD9 format, allowing developers to use 8GB now instead of 7GB. That is great news for Xbox 360 owners.
What I can't figure out is what CountDracula is trying to accomplish with his comment. Blu-Ray has up to 50GB of storage.
50GB > 8GB.
Piracy cannot be justified. Period. Not having enough money to pay for games does not give you the right to pirate them. I can't afford a great many things, but I don't go out stealing them.
If you don't feel like a product is worth your money then you simply should not use it. If a game has overpriced DLC then don't buy it. If a game has buggy multiplayer or short single-player content then just don't buy it. You don't have the right to play it anywa...
Sony did not take away backward compatibility. They released models that did not have it, but that is not the same as "taking it away". My launch unit still has backward compatibility.
If you purchased a model that did not include B/C then you have no basis for complaint about not having B/C. You exchanged money for a product with a certain feature set. It is unreasonable to expect to have a feature that was not was not part of the out-of-the-box configuration. <...
What if it was just a neighbor's Mii? What if he bought a 3DS for one of his friends, and not necessarily for a mistress? If his mistress is coming over to your house I can't imagine why she would bring a 3DS with her, unless a riveting game of Nintendogs somehow equates to foreplay.
Edit: @ Dlacy13g
Thank you for noticing that. I did not read the editor's note. I did find the situation to be fairly suspicious though.
