I only have a PS4 and I couldn't care less about Titanfall. It basically looks like COD with mechs, and I lost all love for COD years ago. Most anticipated game of next year my ass.
What a bullshit comment. So you would be more than happy for the hundreds of regular employees at EA to lose their jobs? The problem at EA is at the upper management level, not the lower levels. They just need new management that have a different direction.
"...so that they exit the industry or suffer losses so severe..." - aren't you nice. What about all the employees at EA? I would love to see you say that to them. The vast majority of people at EA have nothing to do with their business policies. It's all upper management. Shit rolls downhill. EA needs new management that have a different direction.
@Shake, I agree with all you have said and I think DICE are great developers but EA has to take the hit here. BF4 should not have been released in this state. I play it on PS4 and after 3 or so updates it is still buggy as hell, and I can't even play the DLC. I would rather have it come out in march so I could invest my €70 in something else while I waited for BF.
Damn straight! Haven't played a campaign like that in a long, long time. Played it straight through three times in a row. My girlfriend said I was obsessed. I was.
Mobile devices also have WAY more games than PS4 and X1 at the moment, but do people want to play them? No, because it doesn't matter. People harp on about Nintendo having Mario, Zelda, etc. but being honest, would you rather have a PS4 or WiiU hooked up to your TV right now? If people answer honestly, 90% will say PS4 regardless of its lack of games. There is a reason the WiiU has sold very little; it is not nearly as appealing as a console (never mind the games) compared to the PS4 ...
For some reason the health regen on my campaign doesnt work and it's stuck on around 35 the whole time. Pain in the ass, because the campaign isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.
Blame EA, DICE is a great developer.
It's up to the publishers unfortunately but I agree, digital game prices are extortionate.
Played it three times through back to front, every play through was better than the last when the difficulty went up. Can't wait to see what ND do on the PS4.
Care to back up your opinion. I thought it was amazing. One of the very few games that actually made me feel for the characters.
It crashes on me the odd time, the sound drops in and out, there is no f**king squad up system, but I still give it an 8.5/10. DICE will get it fixed and this will long be forgotten about. BF3 had issues when it first released too but now its top class. BF4 had to release on 5 different platforms, so I expected issues.
Why are you glad you didn't buy it? It's by no means broken. It has the odd issue here and there but I'm getting hours out of this game. It's awesome.
It used to be awesome, KZ2 online was brilliant. Then people started complaining that the controls felt too heavy i.e. not like COD/Halo. GG folded and implemented the 'gun strapped to shopping cart' feel that COD has. It's been all downhill since then. Actually, KS Mercenary on Vita controls similar to KZ2 and it feels much better.
And it hasn't even released in Japan. I'm sure the Japanese will be lapping it up after how well it went down everywhere else.
@ShinraE5 - I realise all companies are out to make a profit, business is a pointless venture otherwise! The manner in which you do business is rather important though, and with X1 Microsoft screwed up big time.
2 - You explained you own statement, so you should see the issue here. It's not with the X1 itself, except for graphics whores who are a fickle bunch, it's with MS. I am predominately a PS player, always have been, but I did have two 360s; one RROD and after Gears 2 bombed online I gave up on Xbox (Gears 1 online was sublime). The X1 looks good but I am not willing to give my hard earned cash to a company like MS. Sure they may have reversed their DRM restrictions, etc. but it'...
A remastered trilogy for X1 and PS4 would be great. I would buy it on PS4 for sure.
There are 80+ million PS3s out in the wild. 10 million copies of GT5 were sold, so a good chance that they will reach that number with GT6 on PS3. Plus having it solely built for one console should reap the benefits. There are a lot of car enthusiasts out there who bought the PS3 just for GT5 (my brother is one of them, he literally has no other games and isn't a gamer), these people will buy GT6 as well.
If it's not a system seller for X1 then I don't know what will be.
