Wait what?
Why are you blaming development choices on space of DVD?
I don't feel like there is any reason to use that as an excuse for the simplification of dialog trees all but removing paragon choices by ME3 and recycling multiplayer maps to pad out the game. As well as the oversimplification of items and loot that took place over the course of the games. I can understand reducing the amount from ME 1 where it was a pain but the level of simplification...
Excuse me for being a little skeptical considering how every change since Mass Effect 1 has basically dumbed down or removed the RPG elements.
Nathan Drake with Mount your Friends wiener animation lol
No, it's the cost of one to two games.
I vote even bigger boobs! lol
To be fair Xbox has never really been the go to console for gaming variety. (shooters and sports)
After the first few years of 360 MS pretty much abandoned the Japanese gaming market. And since last gen if you wanted Japanese games you had to go to PS and thus far that trend hasn't changed.
While I disagree with most everything you said, your right that the original $700 PS3 was kind of a disaster. If the $300 PS3 slim had been the original PS3 the 360 would have been crushed.
My experience with 360 was also less than spectacular.
My first 360 lasted one night, I bought it with Street Fighter 4 and it kept locking up, so I returned it. The new one didn't crash but it was janky and poorly manufactured.
The dvd drive was extremely noisy from the start and the power button was manufactured poorly and never clicked properly and only worked if you pressed on the top left corner. As well as the little door where you plug in USB ...
I'm not at all surprised.
I mean why buy really expensive consoles when you can get basically 80% of the games absolutely free on PC via piracy in a country where you have absolutely 0% chance of any type of repercussion for piracy.
This is just not true.
Just because a few recent games have had issues doesn't represent the whole picture at all. The fact of the matter is that the vast majority of games perform better on PC and have better support over all due to the ease of patching, especially via steam.
it's kind of surprising considering at launch Metacritic (IMHO) was cherry picking reviews to give Xbox games slightly higher scores (for same game) even when they were lower res and had performance issues. They have stopped doing that though.
Conan was like "when are they going to add swords?!?"
Yeah it's really good if you like stealth games. It really slipped under the radar for a lot of people. If you like stealth you'll be really pleased I think.
If you find quick success may as well milk it...
Inc yearly Shenmue releases...
I mean, if thats your reply then all you came here to do is troll.
Nintendo is part of gaming history, though I understand if your too young to understand why they're important.
I feel kinda bad, I imagine there under a lot of pressure at Nintendo, if they don't have a huge hit with NX it could be really bad times for Nintendo.
I tend to agree (about the VR being a fad), I think it's going to be like the first Kinect which sold what 8 million units or some crazy number the first holiday and now look where it is. People get pissed when they hear MS still wants to use it.
I feel like most of the people praising it are either industry insiders who basically are yes men, and people who haven't tried it.
It's fun for an hour then you get sick of having it strapped to your fa...
Wow, I can't believe he's still saying that.
They released a console that was competing with the prior generation when everyone knew the new console generation was starting in less than a year. And they bundled it with an expensive gimmick that drove the cost up.
WiiU might have succeeded if they had released it as soon as the Wii started dropping off, aka 3 to 4 years before they released it.
Geez if anyone should be applauded it was the people who said no to the original design. Of which I'm sure he was plenty involved.
Digital blows, if it wasn't for re-sale all games would cost 60$ forever.
Look at the cost of DLC for your oldest games, and I can pretty much guarantee it costs the same price now as it did years ago when the game was new.
