Steam supports a wider variety of games. And many Laptops which are capable of outputting at 1080p just have monitors that don't support that resolution.
That said I bet if you were to narrow that down to only people who have bought "next gen 64 bit games" you'd see that most of that group have PC's far more powerful than consoles.
I'm not sure how I feel about this. I'm not excited. Bioware under EA especially now that basically all the founders have left just doesn't make the same type of games and the new EA style just doesn't appeal to me.
Mass Effect 3 was my least favorite for a bunch of reasons, Dragon Age 2 was crap and Dragon Age Inquisition while better than 2 really didn't impress especially when compared to other RPG's that came out later in the year.
One of my all time favorites, been playing since the very first one. Civ V after all the expansions is an excellent game. Really the gold standard for the whole 4x genre. Beyond Earth however lacks though I look forward to the expansion, the game has some interesting ideas perhaps when it's "finished" it will be as good as Civ V... perhaps...
Hmm cool the Guild 2 and its sequels had really cool ideas. Sadly however a lot of the jobs and actions were unbalanced and many more just didn't work. And unfortunately the economy of the game was sort of broken. But it's not all bad, to be fair they tried to do a lot on a very limited budget so it's not surprising the game had flaws. All in all I had a lot of fun with it still.
I didn't think they'd revisit the series, but I'm glad they are.
Honestly, as lame as this sounds. This doesn't happen to me, I know what type of games I like and if something isn't on that list I either pass or wait till it's a price I want to pay.
Well at least I can finally read the signs =)
Looks like neat project.
While I hate scams and I'm glad people are getting refunds this is kinda awesome and totally hilarious. Way to go kid you almost pulled it off.
But in all honestly kid, if you had the talent to make what ever little crap you made why not just make 11 more crappy levels at least you would have got to keep a few bucks...
I dunno, this whole game streaming cloud physics stuff just seems horribly inefficient. And a waste of energy and resources for small improvements or things that could be done in one's own home easier and cheaper.
It reminds me of driving your car to the end of a suburban driveway to get the mail.
Actually, I did understand. I was just being rhetorical, but yes, I agree.
I'd really prefer a new game in the series.
I mean the game is modern enough to be plenty playable and there are tons of mods to make it look much better than release.
I prefered the faction system of New Vegas as well, and New Vegas still has the best mods, even better than Skyrim.
New Vegas ended up having a lot higher replay value for me as well because the main story was really just a small part of the narrative in the game. Where as Fallout 3 the story was the game there were side quests but they really didn't matter or affect the world.
Good story.
I remember when it launched, I got it on my way to work along with the guide book. I couldn't play it but I remember showing off the size of the guide to my co-workers as an example of how good the game was going to be.
Yea, pretty much zero interest in anything Assassins Creed.
I have two or three of these games that I have either not ever even installed or played less than a couple hours.
And is it just my imagination or are these games starting to come out even less than a year apart. Isn't this like the fourth Assassins Creed game to come out in two years'ish?
It says something when I can't even keep track of the games anymore.
I don't understand why sex is such an issue but violence and even making violent games that simulate wars between real countries is perfectly ok. (Example: BF4 fighting vs China)
Yea, I'm really looking forward to that, if they give it as much love as they did Witcher 3 it'll really be a game that has a lot of appeal for me as I really prefer Sci-fi to Fantasy. Especially since fantasy games are a dime a dozen and quality Sci-Fi RPG's are super rare.
This is definitely the game to beat if you want GOTY... Good luck everyone else it's not exactly like you have 0% chance... lol
As always, I'll wait to see how it plays out when the game is launched. Doing this on a small scale with a closed network is a whole different thing than when masses of players are playing from all around the globe.
I'm not "into" the way they are selling this game. At best I'll buy it when they have a complete edition, but only if it seems like a good value.
I am SO done with Assassins Creed, I have two of them that I haven't played more than a few hours on and really don't see myself going back to.
"Just another story entirely, apparently unrelated to everything that happened on the original trilogy"
Right, a reboot.
