You don't need fitness based games necessarily to get your workout. I've been combining sessions of Dance Central with Kinect, and Fight Lights Out with Move. The results are very pleasing as these games have already paid for themselves. Also, everyone in the house can use it, no separate membership charges, lol.
Let him come up with a key generator for Windows 7 Product keys and bypass an authentication check with Microsoft so you can still download the patches and updates until a new OS is released.
Let Geohotz gun for something like that and see how fast Microsoft changes their tune. If anyone should discourage hacking it should be Microsoft as their "bread & butter" OS is hacked on a routine basis.
And Activision can be prepared to write a check to give every PS3 owner who requests a full refund. So we all know that this will never happen, this is the emptiest threat I've heard in a long time.
Maybe he will mention that he "meant" they will shut the servers down for maintenance? Riiiight!
I am SOOOOO glad I rented this game and did not buy.
Maybe in some places, but I don't get that feeling when every WalMart, Target, Best Buy, Sams Club, and Gamestop in a 1000 mile radius has them in stock.
My advice, stop shopping for your consoles and peripherals @ gas stations and you'll do better.
There is no shortage of anything right now, there are Kinects, Moves, and consoles everywhere. If anything, the 4GB standalone 360 slim may be rare. And that would be because they don't make enough o...
More so if I didn't play it. Nothing sucks worse than paying a monthly fee and not getting to use what you paid for like you'd intended to.
Some will have a hard time accepting the monthly fee when they are not used to it.
PS3 security failing allowed for open hacking on the 360 and PC. Now that is some powerful stuff. The world is on fire and it is the PS3's fault. /s
Really IW and camp, you got no better excuses?
Is currently reduced to $19.99 brand new. Don't expect a big resell value from this game. If you are a fan, buy it - if yo wanna sell it after, try your luck on Ebay I guess.
It is called Modern Warfare 2 so I guess they are working on new map packs then. It is funny how so many other games get pinged for bringing nothing new to the table, but games like this get infinite passes. Modern Warfare is becoming the Madden of FPS.
Sony goes to GeoHotz's site and donate $1 to his Paypal account. From the onset, it looks foolish and underhanded, but it isn't at all. It is actually a great chess move and I can tell you why. Because Sony apparently did this, they do not have to bother with subpoenaing one single third party transaction from George Hotz paypal account, they have a transaction from their own records that is admissible as evidence that GeoHotz can, has, and possibly gains revenue for participating ...
Dance Central is a great game that works as advertised. It is responsive and fun, and is a testament to what a great Kinect game can do. Every sale was earned, my family enjoys it.
In case someone wants to know, these Kinect games are good so far:
Dance Central, Kinectimals (especially if you have kids), and Kinect Sports seems decent - I only demoed it
What some of you refer to about hackers using their skills for the greater good is called "Ethical Hacking". Please understand that Geohotz and FailOverFlow are far from this bunch. There is nothing Ethical about opening the door for Piracy. Ethical Hackers are usually not amateurs, they are paid GOOD money and are consultants who can penetrate networks with a company's PERMISSION to expose and reveal vulnerabilities so the company has an option to patch and fix the issues if...
Yes these guys are hackers, but it was THEFT that gained these guys access to the PS3 - not their "hacking skills". If I steal your password and log into your account, that is not true "hacking", I've stolen your login from you, that's all.
So when these guys couldn't brute force their way in, they had to resort to theft. I am sure someone helped them out from the inside, etc. But they appear to me no more than car thieves who failed at hot ...
How is this fun? I watched the whole video. The cheats remove all competition in the game, so there is no reason to play it.
When you buy an Activision game. Just ask the Devil a.k.a. Bobby Kotick.
Used it to play Mass Effect2 on my laptop. But there is software to custom program the buttons and even keep profiles for different games, etc. It works pretty well. I haven't tried it with W7 yet, but I am glad someone reports that it works fine.
But Sony owns the software. The hardware without the software is indeed a brick. We are not legally allowed to modify the software, only the hardware. If the software is somehow modified and misused beyond it's agreed intent, I cannot see what would legally prohibit Sony from having that right to disable the software. It is uncool yes, but I think it is "technically" legal since we are not technically "charged" to use the OS. The argument could be made that we pur...
While many of these are new customers, I also think a great many were 360 fans who had been on the fence with upgrading their 360, couldn't find a standalone Kinect for $149 in their area, and saw a great opportunity/excuse to upgrade their console and get Kinect in one swoop. Kinect made the time right to go ahead and do that upgrade.
Good for Microsoft, good for those enjoying Kinect... Microsoft core gamers, keep those fingers crossed that you won't be abandoned,...
No for each one out, and I'll raise you a No for Uncharted 3 that isn't even out yet.
* Squirks up face * C'Mon Son! You give LBP2 a 7.5 son?! C'Mon Son!
GTFO with that 7.5

Parts I find relevant to Geo's case:
