No. BUT if you want to play playing Dance Central (great workout)and the better games for it, and are SERIOUS about exploring the PC application of the device, then you may get more value from Kinect's price point. Simply as a game accessory/peripheral... no Kinect isn't worth $150 IMO.

I give them both a thumbs up for one reason. I personally did not buy into the hype for either device, and didn't treat them like Minority Report 2 or the 2nd coming of Christ.

Kinect does what it is supposed to do pretty well when the software is developed well around it (the same holds true for Move). The games to get on Kinect is Dance Central and Kinectimals (My system came with Kinect Adventures - meh).

Move does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do. ...

Kinect isn't selling well because it is a miracle device. It is selling because it has been advertised extremely well. It has a name branding campaign that is a marketing dream. Kinect also has a few games that work very well with the device: Kinectimals, Kinect Sports, and Dance Central (I don't know of any other titles that work this well)... and for those games I've mentioned, Kinect is FUN. It is not meant to be taken so seriously to be the next "Minority Report"...

Bad news for the 360 core gamer. I own the Kinect, Dance Central is fun, love watching my wife play it. Kids are enjoying Kinectimals, but there isn't a whole lot for me right now. The only game I want on the 360 today is Gears 3. I get most of my enjoyment from using the Kinect on dash board stuff like Last.FM, etc. My wife and I both "like" Kinect, but agree that it is no where near $150 in value and we would've been upset and had buyer's remorse if we paid for it...

The speed of his flight creates a difficult obstacle. I mean this guy can circle the world in a few minutes. It is hard to capture the awesomeness of his legendary power in a game and represent it properly. Superman may have to travel into outer space to make it interesting, then you have the problem where he can't breathe in outer space (just holds his breath for a long time - only a few writers gave him the complete lack of need for oxygen). This makes Superman look vulnerable even ...

Lens of Truth's (Lies') response by Jason is possibly the most unprofessional correspondence I have read between two people in a business. He even stated, " Truthfully one of our staff members is the biggest PS3 fanboy" - does that mean he is the oddball, and everyone else is not?

It doesn't matter, by his own admission his site is incapable of producing unbiased results from their findings. These guys should just make their site a TAB on Microsoft.com...

I cannot understand why this game cannot have motion support as an OPTION. This would make it a dual purpose game and give it the replay value it needs. You could play without motion to have the arcade experience, or use motion to transform the game into a "manly" workout game while doing your boxing career.

It could add depth to the game seeing how you would REALLY do against some of the computer opponents, allowing you to step into the ring with Ali, Tyson, and ...

On the first day, God creates light.
On the second day, God creates the skies and heavens
On the third day, God separates the Earth and Sea
On the fourth day, God creates night and day
On the fifth day, God creates all the creatures in the land
On the sixth day, God creates man in his image
On the seventh day, God creates a PS3 and Little Big Planet so everyone everywhere would have something to do while he rests.

That some model DVD drives in the 360s still lack those 2 cent rubber bumpers to prevent this type of scratching. How can people blame a camera that sits still (occasionally moves to track) on scratching disks?

So whether if someone has a Kinect or not, is jumping up or down or not, there should be rubber devices inside the DVD drive that prevent a spinning DVD from having damaging contact to the DVD drive's inerts with a reasonable amount of vibration.

If Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony teamed up some day and made all of their game discs come with one time use product keys. They are gonna try to kill of pirates and resellers all in one swoop.

And you know who the blame will be... GeoHot and his ilk. This has already been discussed and ill received, but I am sure new anti-pirating measures for next gen will again be a layered security system, but possibly more annoying. This is just my guess. What's next, consoles in t...

For FREE. I just hooked it up last night. The only thing I disagree with is that they are NOT hard to find. They are EVERYWHERE I look. If anything, the single Kinect devices were hard to find @ one point, forcing you to buy a console bundle if you wanted Kinect. But now, there are so many Kinects @ Walmart and the like, they are bursting out of the display cases.

If you understand Kinect for what it ACTUALLY is, it can be a fun casual/family experience... then you have ...

The only secure system is one that is broken/unusable/disabled/off. No security is perfect, but the PS3's security has been the best this gen. Hackers always find a way to crack stuff... because no system is completely secure. They know this and exploit any means to break in.

Good luck to those who volunteer their system as a guinea pig in whatever new hacking scheme comes to the forefront. I will keep my PS3s legit for the moment, games go on sale way to quickly for ...

There are some models that can produce 1080p through component, but it is not guaranteed on all makes & models. I need a HDMI cable for my 360 Kinect bundle. I just hooked it up tonight. Got Dance Central and Kinect Adventures... I will see how it plays out. I won this system @ a Christmas Party.

If this is indeed true, LOT loses its credibility in a major way. This has always been a question of mine, who checks the checkers? Well, this time the checkers got checked, and it brings a grin to my face as LOT scrambles to come up with an excuse. My guess is that they will ignore this. Darkride66, you did a GREAT job on this article.

Now my question is, how many are left? How many dishonest biased sites are out there misinforming the public on a daily basis? How many...
