So basically remove everything from FPS titles that make them fun. Listen, if you want a realistic shooter, go play Red Orchestra. Getting shot once in that game is almost a guaranteed death, and guns respond accurately to their real life counterparts. Also, you cant just hop into any vehicle that you see. You have to be trained to use them. It's the reason why it's called the WW2 simulator. For the others out there that was the fast arcade experience, go play the others... like Halo,...
The slim is having a shortage. I know, I sell them. They're also selling faster than any model that has been released from Microsoft. We only receive a shipment of about 9 each couple of weeks, and we're rated one of, if not the highest GameStop in the county.
Hot damn... I'm shocked Sony didn't want to publish Demon's Souls. It's one of the highest rated titles they have, and one of the best RPGs this generation. Does this mean it could technically appear on other platforms in countries outside of Japan?
On-topic:
This might be a major potential f*ck up on Sony's part. If the game is doing well and being received well, then people are going to miss out if Sony is passing this up.
I would lol if he were to play MMOs on a console.
>Emulation = Piracy
I lol'd.
"but they mix the used games in with the new ones; you don't know what you're getting. Plus, these games will probably have price drops soon enough."
The games are either priced with "New" or "Pre-Owned". What's hard to notice? Also, the games that are on there have already had a price drop.
Oh hey, I'll be able to play all of those games on my PC down the road when emulators are released. In fact, I'll probably be able to play all the DS and Wii titles listed in your comment, before they're even released on said console. Funny that, isn't it?
Are people really this stupid to believe this is a serious review?
Except for the fact that PC gaming offers everything console gaming does as well, considering later down the road, we're going to have emulators for said consoles on our PCs.
There's over 1 billion PCs worldwide right now. If only 10% of those can play games, that still leaves 100 million PCs in the world right now that can play games. I think that's quite enough for the PC market to continue to thrive.
Huzzah. And the console dumbs down the PC port once again in the Final Fantasy Online franchise. Thank you SE for releasing this on a console. Implying anyone would be silly enough to play an MMO on a console in the first place. You guys better not screw this up and limit the better version like you did last time with Final Fantasy XI.
I wouldn't say Age of Conan looks better than Final Fantasy XIV, but I can say that the new update coming to Aion most certainly looks better. This is coming from a guy who's had his FFXI account active since 2004. Also, since guzman apparently insults people without anything to back himself up, I'm gonna go ahead and say that the FFXI community is basically dead now. The biggest server consists of about 100,000 people at most, with only 30% of that being active.
360 also has a shortage happening right now. I know, we only get about 9 every shipment and they sell out within a day or two.
You cannot be serious in saying such an arrogant and ignorant thing. I mean it's like... the epitome of desperation to state that Crytek and Bethesda needed Killzone 2's influence, a game that not only almost flopped (please look up the definition flop before you start screaming), but is a PS3 (i.e. console) exclusive. Something both developers are the opposite of, and in fact are PC developers.
"That is w/o mentioning the groundbreaking industry standard setting...
