I think a bigger issue outside of worrying if your computer will run it, is the possible flaw in the game's design. I'm in the beta right now, and have already seen it.
First off, your physical level and your rank (job) level are separate this time around. What does this mean? This means that you are granted 6 points for attributes, and 6 points for resistances when gaining a physical level, and granted new abilities when gaining a rank level. But what is the point of...
Sounds like it would honestly be a pain. Unfortunately, the 360 doesn't have keyboard/mouse support for it's games.
Off-topic:
How exactly does the bubble system work?
Because I have literally lost a bubble for absolutely no reason. I haven't made a comment that's been reported, had more disagrees than agrees, had any negative responses, or anything of the sort since the update, but have still lost a bubble for some unapparent...
They cannot permanently remove such a thing. A patch would only be a temporary solution since the device itself uses the systems debug mode. Once a patch is released, the company only has to update the device through software on some site. All you would have to do is simply plug in the device into your PC, and download the update.
The only thing that would permanently remove such a thing would be disabling the USB slots on the PS3 through a firmware update, but that would cau...

There's no way that someone can say that the PSP is on the same grounds as the 3DS, and actually back up such a statement when there's already comparisons between the two in terms o...
I wouldn't mind a new Black & White title. Hell, I'd find it to be pretty cool if they made a B&W title centered around the Fable universe on the PC.
Personally, I doubt the PS3 can run it's OS alongside of running the entire console of the Wii. It's a much more complicated task than simply saying "Well, this supports homebrew, which means the Dolphin emulator can probably run on the PS3."
"An emulator is a program that basically reproduces the behaviour of the hardware of an old machine (ex : video cards, CPU, mainboard, RAM). People that program emulators have to first obtain some information about...
I think I might hold off on the Resistance franchise. The first one was really something special when it was released, but I was really disappointed with how the second one turned out.
With that being said, I bet the new Ratchet & Clank game is going to be pretty damn fun.
Honestly, though... how would Sony stop an external USB drive? By disabling the USB ports? I don't think so. Those are too multi-functional for Sony to simply halt. Not to mention, there's no way they're going to force you to plug your controller into another USB device simply to charge it. That's counter-intuitive.
A firmware update wouldn't be able to detect what USB device is being used on a PS3, as someone could simply unplug the ethernet cable, plug i...
Microsoft didn't own Ninja Gaiden, they only published it, and even their publishing logo didn't make it on the front cover, so they had almost nothing in it. They OWN the rights to the first one being on consoles basically. In fact, it wasn't even BioWare who made the PC version.
I assume it's the new hip thing to hate on everything, right?
Horribly mad. So mad in fact, that I'm unable to comprehend how mad I am. And now you caught me, so you must die.
Anyways.... yeah... my reasons stand. When I bought it on Steam, the game was unplayable on my PC, which can run Crysis ultra high. The game ran at 5 FPS and all of textures in the room would not load. This was after 2 downloads/reinstalls. And yes... I cant play it in it's entirety on the PS3, and transferring your character over was a pretty neat experie...
You did see the article where Microsoft stated "Mass Effect 1 will remain a 360 exclusive" and the article stating EA "has no plans of porting Mass Effect 1", right?
While I agree that the statement is incorrect, I will have to say that my Mass Effect experience will remain on the 360 simply because:
1). Mass Effect on the PC was (for me at least) one of the most buggy experiences I've ever had. More so than the 360 version. I bought the first one off of Steam when it went on sale for a few days about a year or two ago, and I've actually had to reinstall it multiple times due to the fact that textures were unable to load in the ga...
You kids ever think that you possibly spend way too much time arguing over the same crap every day? I was aware that the game was never exclusive in the first place. I was playing it on my PC. Good news for PS3-only owners, though. Awesome game, even though I personally found the first one to be a much more cinematic experience.
On a side note, how well is this going to work without the first game, especially since you cant port over your character (which was one of the best ...
Yeah... no. Monster Hunter is absolutely amazing and I would kill for that franchise to appear on the PS3. By far one of the most memorable games I played back on the PS2. I love the PSP versions, but I want my Rathalos' in glorious HD.
White Knight Chronicles personally doesn't hold a candle to that franchise. Monster Hunter has had 4-player co-op since 2004. It's armor and weapon catalog is second to none, and it's customization is practically limitless. The...
ODST was 750k pre-orders. This game is going to hit around 1.25m or so before launch.
And it took 2 years before an emulator for the Wii was created, which is a console that already outperforms the PS2. Technology occurs logarithmically. Just because it took 7 years for the PS2, doesn't mean it would take 10 years for the PS3.
Also, I guarantee you that the PS2 emulator works fine, especially when the Wii emulator is running the console's titles at a 1920x1080 resolution and 60 FPS, all through an emulator. Expect emulators to pop up within the next 3 ...
The Halo: Reach limited edition is actually limited. The statues that are inside of the Legendary Edition are modeled by McFarlane, and honestly, most of their major pieces of work are never mass produced.
Dude, what? Space Marine looks fantastic, especially to someone who's a fan of the 40k universe. I especially like the fact that their reasons for not using a cover system actually make sense. You're a 7ft, 1000lb death machine that fights solely to die for the emperor.
