An actual reply would be nice, next time.
Buying this on a console?... eh.
I owned FFXI for the PS2 before any other platform. I played it a LOT, but once I bought the PC version, I never turned on the console to play FFXI again. It's just easier and more efficient on the PC. Also, there's great third-party support and it's going to look a lot better.
With this being said, later down the road, I will purchase this again for the PS3 and maybe even the 360 when it comes out for friends to e...
1. That's locking on to the enemy. You can unlock the camera from my understanding, just like in FFXI.
2. You can turn any sound effects off.
3. The Final Fantasy MMO franchise is not a spamfest like WoW. Casting either will take a certain amount of MP or stamina, or both or a cooldown.
Either you're joking, or you're an asshat of a friend simply because he wanted to play with it.
"sony is in 2nd place, 1st is wii, and 3rd is 360."
Uhh... no? From what I see in the official reports. The Wii is around 70 million, the 360 is around 40 million (not including any slim sales), and the PS3 is around 35 million. So honestly, I have no idea what you're talking about.
Very cool, indeed. I had no idea about the Advent Children logo. I basically figured they wanted to just go with a more edgy logo that was once on the FFVII box.
Dear god. Someone who actually knows a thing or two about technology. I'm glad to see that there are people out there who have actually experienced Alan Wake and can say, with assertion, that they know how the game looks and it looks gorgeous.
Alan Wake supports some heavy post processing effects, as well as 4xAA and quite possibly, the best lighting a game has ever achieved on consoles.
It looks like a cleaner, easier, more efficient dashboard. Also looks like it isn't too taxing on the system either. I honestly didn't care about the NXE after a while, and found it to be rather annoying at times with it being curved at an angle. Also, it isn't "Kiddy". It's just more trendy with today's technology.
So according to your information, you've been on Killzone 2 since July 14, 2008, almost a year before it was released?
Oh wow. It looks like they're really trying to stick to the original Sonic Adventure with some 2D aspects implemented. Looks really well done. I hope it turns out alright.
You still have two items being ventilated whether it's the PS3 or the 360. The only difference is that one is external, while the other is built into the console. How do you think power sources work with PCs?

Trey 4 Life indeed.
So Mirror's Edge, BioShock and Gears of War all look and play the same?
"from what some PC gamers tell me crysis was a terrible game THE ONLY thing good about it was the graphics"
That's why they're making a second one, right? Seriously, who told you that? Your friend? The game has a 91 average, is still hailed as one of the most entertaining shooters to date, and continues to have community support 3 years later with new maps, mods, and the like. It doesn't exactly help your cause that you haven't even played it to give...
Glad to hear that you reserved it. It's the only possible way to get one now. They're so high in demand that it blew the roof off our top sales for our store, and we had so many trades, that we had to write a note saying "Unfinished Trades" and put them in the back due to the fact that there were too many people coming in for them.
Uncharted 2 was certainly not my GotY for 2009. It was fun and enjoyable, but I beat the story twice on the hardest difficulty, and never really cared to play multiplayer after a few rounds. Demon's Souls was my GotY for 2009. It's the only title that actually had what is considered true replay value, instead of just "The game has trophies and multiplayer! That equates to replay value!!"
>Implying some of us even care about trophies and achievements.
PC gaming is the most profitable form of gaming in the world, raking in about $11-$12 billion in revenue each year. It also has multiple communities equating to a lot more PC gamers than console gamers, and has the largest library of exclusive titles than all 3 current systems combined.
I'm not sure where you're getting your information, but PC gaming continues to drive the industry forward and be received as the most profitable platform in the industry.
I cant find Mass Effect 2 on the PS3. What does that make it?

Wait... this is what you do?
