I imagine that games would have to run minimally on ps4 pro and run better on ps5. Always having at least 2 consoles that run the latest releases, with upgraded consoles coming every 3 years. This is the direction I see console gaming going.

Nope, I won't see a difference either. But in that case than ps4 pro isn't really worth upgrading to either. If you don't have a TV to take advantage of everything, what's the point? I'll save my money and in a few years get ps5 and a 4k oled TV.
It's worked on pc for years and years, I think it will be OK.
And in 2 years after that when the next generation consoles come out, it will be an afterthought.

only worth it if you have a 4k tv, if not then the benefits arent really there. And considering 4k streaming content is slim to none, unless you have been stocking up on 4k blu rays, i doubt to many people are using the xbox1s to potential.
But they can't provide a jump in gameplay because the same game has to run on ps4/xb1. A pc game doesn't change the features that are available because you play on low settings, it just looks worse with worse textures, less AA less framerate, etc etc. But the game PLAYS the same.
Ive yet to experience any glitches. What platform were you playing on? Most my issues have been server related so far, dont know if that is from DDOS attack or just being overwhelmed or what.

@foxtrot the fair for players was talking online games. Like COD for instance, say it ran at 30fps on ps4 it will be locked to 30fps on Pro for fair online play. I did not take this to mean the same thing for single player.
