The thing is, the X1 is still anti-consumerist at its core. I don't understand how the xbox fanboys are reconcilling this fact?

I would absolutley love an infected mode. It's a no brainer really, and the most asked for/assumed multiplayer mode.
I still can't wait for TLG,(although tbh perfectly honest, I am a bit jaded at this point) and hope Sony don't disappoint with it. I'll be keeping a keen eye on this one come E3...
OK granted no one buys a ND game for the multiplayer, but from what I've seen and read, I'm absolutely loving the MP already. Nothing too deep is quite ok with me, I've done the COD thing, I've done the BF3 thing, and now I'm looking forward to TLoU MP.
I only hope there will be a MP horde mode or even single player horde mode, that would be the icing on the cake for me.

You probably have to unlock the hardest mode "survival mode", by first completing the game. But yeah, I'm defo playing without the "listening mode".
Exactly, even if M$ show exclusive new IP's, i'm still not getting the XBOne. Simply because, the trade off's are too great. M$ has made known their business strategy going forward, and it does not appeal to me at all.

Exactly. Peeps are saying that they will simply switch it off or turn it around. However Kinect is designed/required to detect gestures. I foresee a scenario where if you obstruct the sensor (block it out in anyway) you get an error message and have to give the sensor a clear view, if not the game/film/browser etc wont work.
I can't wait for Anonymous to hack the kinect 2.0 camera's and post the live vids on Youtube. That would make it all worth it.
