Yup, and there's no word yet on if the EU version will be censored againn. I've got my fingers crossed that it won't, but I'm not holding my breath.
I agree that season passes are abit of a scam. I mean look at Battelfiled Premium. You're basically paying £100 for the full game. £60 for the original and £40 for premium.
However, with the industry getting high off DLC, I can't see the practice stopping anytime soon unfortunately. Especially as some games do offer very good DLC/Season Passes. Games like Bioshock Infinite and TLOU which offer extra episodes as well as other content I don't really h...
I've heard alot about this game, but I'm just not sure I'll like it. I loved games like Baldurs Gate back in the day, but after playing RPGs like Skyrim and Dragon Age, I'm not sure I can go back to isometric text based RPGs.
Naa, that's not how they spin it. When Sony/Microsoft or Nintendo say that a game is "console exclusive" they mean that among the consoles the game is exclusive to a specific console. So for example Titanfall is a console exclusive. But as we all know it is also available on PC.
The article is complete speculation, with no facts or figures to back up the statement.
@Blacklash you seem to be new to gaming, I can't remember playing ANY game that did not require a certain level of 'suspension of disbelief', Heck there are very few movies that don't require it either.
You see, people play games (and watch movies) to be entertained, to have fun and to be immersed in a 'fantastic' world. That fact that loopholes can somwtimes be found in games or movies seldom detracts from the fun factor and entertainment value.
Same here, there's just so much of the world left to explore and so many questions. Heck they could even set that game within the first few years of the outbreak and have completely new characters. Or they could focus on the supporting characters in their early days. I'd love to know Marlene's story, or Tess's story, or even Ellie's mother. So many options for a sequel I hope the just pick one and run with it. God knows it'll sell bucket loads.
I'm really tempted to upgrade to the digital edition. I imagine Destiny permanently on my hardrive so I don't have to swap out disks. But how do I get all the extra swag, will they still send that out by post?
"...C'mon baby gurl, I gotchya.."
The moment that clip started playing a shiver ran down my spine, and it all came flooding back... ahh the sweet sweet memories.
I just can't wait anymore for the Remaster to drop. I want it now so much!!!
Edit: How can you watch that an Not want a sequel. Maybe not about Joel and Ellie, but what happened to the Cordycepts virus? Who leads the fireflies now? Are they still hunting for Ellie,...
Excellent vidcast. I too cant understand why people won't let R@D craft the game they want to craft. It might well be a rubbish game, but can we at least let them finish making the game so that we can judge it for ourselves?
There's some confusion on if the game will run at 24fps or at 30fps (or a mix of both), but in any case, I'm really looking forward to this game, because it's trying to do something different, and yes part of that is being more filmic in i...
For the life of me I have never understood the train simulator games. I get flight sims, and used to love them back in the day - but train sims?!?!
Awww man, I can't wait for this game. But at the same time hope they don't show too much, I like doing into a game as dark as I can.
@Sillicur
Because a game doesn't get released for PC does not mean it will not be very successful. I'm willing to bet that Destiny will be the most successful FPSMMO to ever be released on consoles (even though I disagree that it is an real MMO).
Destiny has all the points that the article suggest - except the PC crowd. So it has like 5/6 point on that list, which means that - according to that list - Destiny will be THE most successful FPSMMO on consoles.
That's all I needed to know. I'm very happy with that.
However, I do find it irritating, that people who don't intend on purchasing Destiny, and who have not played the alpha - such as the author of this article - are writing such articl...
It looks like Activision may well corner the FPS market with Destiny and Call of Duty franchises going forward.
Destiny is not really an MMO. I mean you can only join a fire team of 3 max, and multiplayer matches are 6 max, so it can hardly be said to be "Massively Multiplayer Online".
I haven't read any of The Witcher books, but I'm really tempted to get a few. I just don't know where to start, and the fact that not all the books have been translated to English is a little bit of a turn off as well, if I'm honest.
Dragon Age Origins was a good game, but alot of people overlook the flaws of the game. The fact it wasn't an open world game for starters, the graphical and spell glitches, even the wooden hands on the characters.
Dragin Age 2 fell well short of even Dragon Age Origins in nearly every possible way. And was not as well received critically.
If you compare Dragon Age Origins to The Witcher, I would agree that Dragon Age Origins is the better game. But if you...
Yeah the storytelling in Skyrim was weak. The Witcher3 will definately steal the story telling crown.
I think there's a greater chance of it coming to VR platforms like Occulus and Morpheus.
Yeah, it's the same 3 sites as well. I'm just waiting on the game now, I think I'm all hyped up to the max, so yeah the 'WoW' articles can stop now.
oh wait... I just remembered that ND said they'd be releasing PS4 gameplay next week. Sooo, maybe we got another week of TLOU vids and trailer yet :P
