Well Sony do have more exclusives releasing this year so...
With their stellar line-up of exclusives in 2017, Sony are really going to give MS a run for their money.
Wait what? Microsoft are the ones who started the trend of timed exclusive DLC and map packs for Call of Duty. Now that Sony is teaching them their own lesson, suddenly it's detrimental to "growth?" GTFO Phil and get schooled.
It's practically guaranteed to come to PSVR, probably just needs to go through a longer process of certification for Sony.
I'm pretty sure The Kitchen demo is available on PSN store as a standard download. No PSVR required. Definitely give it a try in any case.
The Last Guardian is a masterclass in character development. What a phenomenal game! Not many games as so emotive to the point of bringing tears to your eyes. Unfortunately that game is slightly let down by the somewhat random camera. Definitely still a must play game.
After the success of the P.T Demo, as well as The Kitchen demo - I think Capcom made the right decision. I've tried it in VR, and I have to say - I'm stoked.
Oh great!. We haven't yet gotten over the "always online" single player campaign, and the "no more split-screen", now we have to deal with 'peer-to-rage-quitters' ; servers. Just great.
This game is very quickly sinking in my estimations.
But that's exactly where you are wrong. Alot of people - including myself were not interested in this game, until the big surprise single player reveal. They showed all three single player gameplay trailers and were championing it as singleplayer 'offline' campaign. When guys like me bought into the hype, then they switched tactics and are like - it's an always online singleplayer campaign. Why do you have to be always online to play a single player game anyway? Tell me that...
You're missing the point. Ubisoft say one thing just to generate hype and garner player support. when they have that support, they then backtrack on what they had initially promised. That is called "bait and switch", and it is a dishonest and anti-consumer practice.
WTF! I would've thought that Kojima would distance himself from anything tainted by Konami, let alone allow an ex-Konami president become president of Kojima Productions. Hmm...maybe Konami really are run by the Yakuza!?!?
I like what they are doing with the new logo, it's almost a re-branding. Hopefully the game offers something new a fresh to the series. I'm looking forward to this one.
I haven't seen a single review of TLOU that claimed it didn't have great gameplay. You haven't played more than an hour of the game, so you probably haven't got past the intro... yeah you don't have enough experience of the game to make an informed and balanced opinion.
FYI TLOU has great gameplay, great story, great character development, great graphics and great sound design. It has rightly earned it's status in gaming's hall of fame.
I completely understand what you mean. There was much more emotional investment when interacting with Joel and Ellie, than with Sam and Nathan... and the rest of the U4 cast.
Yes they do. Very much in fact, because they are anti-consumer practices at heart. They got rid of split screen mode, and they got rid of offline campaign. They'll probably add a ton of micro-transactions as well, and try and tell us that they are not essential to the game. If they are none essential then let those items be unlocks from within the game. smh.
Nah! I don't believe it! First you said there would be split screen mode... but you took it back. Then you said there would be offline single player... then you took it back. Now you're saying all DLC will be free... but then your micro-transactions will creep in like worms...
I want to believe, but how many times have you betrayed my trust Ubi?!??!
It really doesn't make any sense why you need a persistent internet connection to play a singleplayer campaign. Surely the game could simply save to Ubisoft cloud servers once you go online. If it was a co-op campaign it would be understandable, but there really is no excuse for this.
It's awesome to finally get the feeling of flying an X-wing, the only thing is that is really really short, and leaves you begging for more. I completed it in under 10 minute, and there no unlockable extras; for example, it would have been great to be able to pilot the U-wing.
xbox guys need to download and get into this demo, it's brilliant. I haven't been able to escape the house yet, but I keep going back to it, each time more determined to get out alive. This demo convinced me about getting the full game.
I wonder if it's a sign that Microsoft are reallocating resources to Scorpio development? But yeah, they need to start understanding that you need good software to push the hardware.
