Seems like exactly what I thought it would be, sounds great for console owners.
What he is saying is true, it's simply hardware, PC is more powerful than a PS4, nothing new, hence PC VR will be superior to PS4 VR on a hardware basis.
That's the article references, but I haven't seen any other website state this nor is there any sort of evidence on that article, it's speculation.
The source doesn't show any evidence that DX12 is just Mantle, now it could just be Mantle but where's the proof? Not to mention NVIDIA are involved with DX12, there GPUs don't work with Mantle.
Yep, Insomniac are Independent and are already working on Sunset Overdrive for XB1, why not co-developer Banjo 3 since they have experience in platformers?
Sony owns the platformer genre... Sony... Not Nintendo... Your joking right?
Microsoft should get Insomniac to co-develop Banjo 3 with Rare. Insomniac I could trust Banjo 3 with as they have experience with Spyro and Ratchet and Clank.
lol wireless VR is pretty much impossible due to latency issues.
Is he referring to the Rift Dev Kit or the latest Crystal Cove model for the Rift?
Most likely referring to Cry Engine and Unreal Engine 4 support since those engines support Rift already.
You mean Sony caught up to Microsoft for what MS did to Indies on the 360 ;)
That Fru game uses the Kinect in a really cool way, I'm digging that platformer
Yes all Xbox fans hate Indies... Not like Indies were essentially made popular on the 360 (Cough Braid, Fez, Castle Crashers, Super Meat Boy, Limbo, etc)
What I don't like is putting Indies in front of your AAA games and show casing Indie titles that have been out for 6+ months already.
lol technically VR on PC would be true next-gen gaming.
@FrostyPants
It not very expensive to build a PC these days, but GTX 780, I'm set for true VR next-gen gaming on Rift ;)
Awesome, hopefully we hear about it at GDC or E3
Score seems about right, far as I can tell MGS is a glorified demo and seeing sites like IGN and Gamespot give it an 8 tells me they were paid off.
It's N4G, what do you expect?
Still buying the game day 1, Infamous 1 had a ton of content and replay ability, can't see why Second Son won't, but if it does, oh well, the game looks like a blast to play.
Insiders... -_- Let's just wait for official information and this should be listed as rumour.
Master gameplay? Only Valve and Nintendo have achieved that.
