Phil Spencer is the man, he's a gamer and he wants to bring Xbox back to it's core and that's gaming. Don Matrick is the reason why Xbox has become what it is today, before Matrick and with Allard, Xbox was a hardcore gamer's console. Hopefully Spencer can bring back the magic that the OG Xbox and the early 360 days had.
Sounds interesting if you want digital media content, but if you have a console already or a Tablet, you don't really need this, but it's cool to see Amazon entering the gaming industry.

Oh man I am so hyped for E3 this year, Microsoft are going to have an incredible E3 and Sony have been holding back announcements, I expect an amazing show from them as well and who knows what Nintendo will announce, but Zelda U is going to be there!

Spencer has admitted himself that the Xbox 360 had a massive drought of games in it's last years and strayed away from gaming and I think Spencer is trying to tell us that Xbox is going back to it's original vision of the 360/OG Xbox days and keeping the focus on games and gamers. But either way, it's great news for gamers and the industry. This generation just got that much better.
