When you look at things from a gaming perspective it's rather easy to judge them both.
While they both have a handful of studios, one has more games output than the other:

It's a gaming machine, all that matters is the games. Everything else is an added bonus but not a necessity.
@ thechosenone:
That's because it's nothing new, here's a post by the guy that started the whole DRM campaign.

Sony made it crystal clear in February that the system won't require a connection in order to function (on several occasions to several sites).

As you said yourself...preference.
That's all there is to it, you're making a big deal out of nothing.
Different people like different things, it's simple as that.
Both controllers are a step-up from the previous iteration, every gamer wins in the end.
But I have to say neither will be as cute as this:

While not conclusive this video does give an indication how this generation will play out.
Even though they are just votes, 310k+ is still a lot.
Seeing the route both companies took and all things considered, Sony might have just won the generation before it even started.
So far it's been a smooth sailing with praises left/right for the console/Sony, but E3 is 9 days away and it should be one for the history books.

Planetside 2 and next Everquest incoming most likely.
Uncharted 2 & 3 debut trailer still gives me chills...
When a game does that, then you know you're doing something right.
Fun fact: Naughty Dog is home to ICE Team, Mark Cerny is part of ICE.
Sony will have the last laugh though, because they are there to:

They are streamlining their business and providing consistency.
Take for example Vita screenshot function, it was left up to developers and looked what happen there.
It won't require much from developers to add the additional code to make RP work, PS4 has hardware dedicated to the feature.
I got a Vita today especially for RP and even though it cost me 3x the price of a normal Vita I'm still rather happy with my purchase, beautifully crafted m...
He's somewhat of an iconic figure, as he's been with us PlayStation fans since the beginning of it all.
This is a good watch for anyone that likes the PS brand, it also tells you a bit what to expect from him as CEO.

In some ways he's like the Michael for the loyal fans, hence the crazy following of Kaz.

Good preview, I especially like their write-up regarding C.A.M.P.
Didn't even know those guys were responsible for such great hits.
I wouldn't give up something like this even if you gave me all the shooters of the world.

Thanks, I corrected it myself on both occasion.
No that's Panty Raid...errr I mean Panta Rhei :P
Here's a video of Remote Play between Vita/PS3 to give you an idea.
Note that the whole thing will be a lot better between PS4/Vita, as the PS4 was designed with Vita in mind (PS3 wasn't).

DS4 runs circles around DS3, seriously it makes the DS3 looks like child play.
It holds up as Vita and PS4 development started almost at the same time.
So it's no surprise that we will see them working in tandem.
Shuhei Yoshida re-confirms this:

PSVita and PS4 support the IEEE 802.11n standard, Remote Play (local network) should have the same input lag as your console to TV.
Haha I was just about to submit this ;)
It's too funny to let it pass up, let's see how people react.
I think it will be at Sony's conference...
