I like having the choice for both really, the more choice you have to purchase your games the better. I wouldn't like to totally go DD, I still like buying games from the shops and owning a physical product.
You can buy the DLC on disc as well. Besides, your comment makes no sense, the DLC is bound to not make as much impact as the initial release of GTA4.
The Last Guardian is the only one I'm interested in on your list. I don't like driving games and FF has seen far better days.
Depends what you define by hardcore I suppose, seems to be a word thrown around without any real meaning. I've played games since the early eighties and have owned pretty much every console there is, I love Nintendo games and play on the wii as much as my ps3 and pc.
So if I fall into this 'hardcore' bracket, then they haven't abandoned me because I still enjoy playing their games, and I have plenty of them.
Like I said, depends what you defi...
Just like GTA taught me how easy it was to be a murderer.
I missed out on SOTC when it first came out, I'd sold my ps2 before it was released. But a friend bought a copy a few weeks ago so I borrowed his ps2 for the weekend so I could go through it.
Just completed it today, superb game, I loved it. The only critism I can throw at it is the framerate, but considering what they pulled out of the ps2 in terms of visuals it's understandable, its quite stunning. And the ending is one of the best I've seen in any game.
They were good soundtracks, but they were on the Megadrive, nothing to do with Nintendo.
Yeah it obliterated the game boy for 30 mins. Then the batteries run out and I played the gameboy for the rest of my 9 hour flight.
Point being the battery life was a killer, no matter how great the graphics the fact that it cost a fortune in batteries for gaming on the move was a disaster.
Plus there were only a couple of decent games for the Lynx.
Lol, that's excellent :P
Thanks guys, I've got a few friends who are working in different areas having a look for me lol. London's covered,Sussex and most of Kent! Hopefully I should be ok and playing it tonight :)
EDIT:Uh...this was meant to be a reply for further up hehe.
Yeah they are so scared of new technology even though they are primarily pc developers. They don't really care about consoles, even the 360. It's just far easier to port to 360.
Hmm, this is discouraging. I hope I'm lucky, when I go to the shops.
Im getting mine this afternoon. Well, after reading this I HOPE I'm getting it this afternoon :(
You were in the minority Akagi, a very tiny minority.
Theres a hell of a lot of crying going on in these reviews for Galaxy 2. Why cant people just see that it is a great game without all the usual crap - "Mario gets a free pass","If this was a ps3 game....","Wheres the innovation?",blah blah blah....
The reason it's got such a high score is because, from what I've read anyway, it is FUN! Lots of fun. Which is the reason most (sensible) people play games. All Mario platform games are well cr...
I had a look at the voice cast the other day, expected to see some well known actors but I didn't recognise any names.
Whats wrong with 15 hours? Plus all the rest of the stuff you can do adds up to a hell of a lot of game for your money. Pfft, some people.....
I disagree with his comment about that as well. The purpose of the mission was to show you how evil the guy was, and it would have probably affected a lot of people the way that it did with you z-hayden, to make you feel sick about it. It did with me anyway.
Three Leaf Clover is probably one of the best missions I've played in any GTA game, maybe because I'm a big fan of Heat, but yeah it was satisfying.
Oh, is it that time of the month for someone to say Nintendo is doomed again?
