Shovelware has always been around, it's not a new thing. Companies will always try to make a buck from selling a crap cheaply made product.
There was plenty of shovelware on the ps2 for example, there was shovelware on the MegaDrive also. It's not a new thing, the Wii just happens to be the best selling console so it gets the lions share of the shovelware.
Same here, I barely play online anyway so if I had to pay I wouldn't, it just wouldn't be worth it for me.
Oh yeah that would be great, or the shootout in the bar at the end of Unforgiven. There's so much material they can draw on (pun intended) to make a great western game. Knowing how much Rockstar used a lot of films as references for the GTA series I'm sure they will do the same with this.
Looking forward to this, well I've been waiting for a great sandbox wild west game for years. There's been a few games that have tried, like Call of Juarez and Gun, but they've fallen short of the mark. Hoping this is the game that makes me feel like I'm Clint Eastwood lol.

I can't see really how any gamer (not talking about you Cernunnos, just the point you made) would be happy with this outcome tbh, nevermind the console wars bollocks. I'm playing with a 8800gt and it runs pretty sweet with most settings on high. Due for an upgrade I think.
I'm getting both this week at some point, been replaying GTA4 and forgot how good it was. I might even platinum it if I can get the time, multiplayer trophies might hold me back though, not much of a mp player really.
I haven't seen the psp 2 yet so I couldn't really argue with you about it. I haven't seen the 3ds either. Have you?
I disagree, this game offers far more eye candy and scares than Alan Wake will achieve. The character models are not fantastic, but everything else in the game is.
