He obviously meant that you can't enjoy it on your PS4.. Hence, "PS only fans".. If the PS4 is where you do 100% of your gaming, why should other platform options matter?.. At the end of the day, YOU STILL CANT PLAY IT ON PS4..

sure you can play it on PC to varying degrees of performance depending on how much time/effort you've spent building your rig and surely for a higher cost that just buying an Xbox One.. Sure you can play a potentially watered down...

Lol @ Microsoft being treated as the industry's sweetheart.. Microsoft, deservingly so or not, has been the gaming industry's whipping boy ever since the Xbox One has been announced.. On the other hand, Sony can't seem to do anything wrong in the eyes on the gaming media.. As time goes on, that will change back and forth, but as of right now, you can't use the "everyone is against Sony" excuse..

and damaging to the gaming industry?.. How so?.. P...

At the risk of unnecessarily bringing "console wars" crap into this conversation, I simply have to mention something I've been noticing..

in a negative review of inFamous: Second Son (I personally enjoy the series), all I see are comments about how Sony games are held to a higher standard, reviewers want clicks so they are just making click bait, and "who cares if it's repetitive, it's FUN"..

but in a negative review of Titanfa...

@darkride66
what you and the reviewer are failing to realize is Titanfall is indeed a "great" game.. Not just a "good" game, not just a "solid" game, but a "great" game according the vast majority of reputable game review sites..
Most major sites have given it a rating of 9/10 or better and despite many polarizing opinions from unbiased individuals who have legitimate concerns of "online only" multiplayer games, hardcore E-...

In my opinion, that is not a beauty, it's a hindrance.. It leaves too many variables and questions for both developers and consumers..

For developers, can they comfortably make a VR gaming experience that only uses the headset?.. How much will that experience differ from if the player has the camera and a move controller?.. What if they have two move controllers?.. How do developers know if the consumer has the correct combination of of VR headset, camera, and move co...

This has been my general observation so far in terms of the "resolution gate" news, comparisons, and reactions:

Xbox One fanboys: "I don't see any difference at all. They look exactly the same"

PS4 fanboys: "The difference is massive. It is like night and day"

As usual, the truth lies somewhere in the middle..
If you had both consoles sitting side-by-side, the PS4 version would look slightly bet...

@ger2396 have you ever heard of price drops?..

the PS3 launched at $200 more than the Xbox 360.. Does the Xbox 360 still cost $200 less than the PS3?..

the $100 price difference is a temporary advantage.. Sony fanboys need to quit pretending that these consoles won't eventually be selling for roughly the same price point..

Still doesn't change the content of the argument.. Try actually addressing the topic on hand before blindly damage controlling against plain and simple logic

Seems like the popularity of the PS Camera is a direct result of the success of Twitch on the PS4 console.. Basically, because of Twitch, people are seeing a basic and fundamental value in owning a camera for their console..

Considering that the Xbox One has a superior camera, a superior Twitch experience (judging from previews), and coupled with a free game like Titanfall or Forza 5, the Xbox One costs $20 less than a similar PS4 + PS Eye + Game combo, then obviously (withi...

The people asking for a Kinect-less Xbox One SKU at this point have to be either trolling or have no clue.. That's just my honest opinion

The Kinect 2.0 is one of the Xbox One's primary differentiating factors when you consider the fact that the PS4 has the more powerful hardware.. It's the same as the Wii U's gamepad.. Weaker hardware specs but added potential for innovation and features.. Now, unlike Nintendo and Microsoft, Sony decided to play it safe an...

@WeAreLegion -"For anyone interested in getting the full Twitch experience, go to Twitch.tv on your PS4's web browser.

Boom! Instant "Next-gen Twitch experience"."

It's good that you've found a workaround but surely you aren't implying that this is as good as having a dedicated and fully integrated application..

On Xbox One, you'll be able to set notifications to alert you when your favorite broadcasters ...

@WeAreLegion -""Only with Twitch on Xbox One can you broadcast and watch your favorite games live by simply saying “Xbox, Broadcast."

Is that easier than pressing the Share button twice or holding it for two seconds?

Honestly, everything in this article deserves a big "F YOU, MICROSOFT!""

Double press is for setting the start point for a video clip recording and long press can be for either taking a screenshot or dis...

@Septic -"Well we have to see how it works. With the PS4 it is super-easy. Press share button, choose Twitch and start broadcast."

Fair statement.. But if this works as advertised, simply saying "Xbox, Broadcast" would seem to be even super-easier..

Well, giving credit where credit is due, many people were telling them to bring back the 360's quick menu to do all this stuff.. that would obviously conflict with the new UI design language so they "listened to feedback" and incorporated those features in a way that doesn't clutter up the UI.. As stated in the video, now you're 3 button clicks away from seeing everyone who's online and fully interacting with them (comparable to the 360) or only one voice command a...

The Xbox One costs more but also does more.. Universal voice controls, full body motion tracking, live TV integration, "snap view" multitasking, more apps, and etc are typically reasons enough to justify the extra money..

in time, the consoles will roughly cost the same thanks to pricedrops.. But in the meantime, the "you're paying $100 more for a weaker console" argument just isn't accurate when ALL the features of the consoles are considered.. ...

on the Xbox One, you can go back to previously recorded video and add voice commentary and/or picture-in-picture commentary after the fact..

are you saying that the PS4 can do this?.. I have yet to see this option

Either the author of this article doesn't have all the facts about Xbox One Game DVR functionality or he is just biased..

firstly, I agree with a number of the PS4 advantages.. Sharing screenshots and starting a recording are easier on PS4 (just hold the share button or double-tap the share button respectively without having to leave the game play), broadcasting to Twitch is present at launch, and having 15 minutes of continuous recording is better than being limited to 5...

now that ONLINE MULTIPLAYER is behind the paywall, lets stop pretending that the vast majority of the PS4 community wont be already paying for the PSN+ service anyway..

PSN's biggest advantage was free online multiplayer.. period.. now that that's gone, how many PS4 buyers are going to NOT play the online portions of the games they purchase when the only hurdle is a paltry $50 a year?.. the answer is "very few".. and that being said, what's to brag a...
