"hard" =/= "impossible"..
If Microsoft has figured out a way for this to work, I'm sure it was not only hard but it was VERY hard...
Point?
His comment was made in the Xbox One forums.. Then a poster cautioned him, saying that people in the Xbox One Reddit forums are already quoting him.. He replies saying 30-40% is not an exaggeration..
What more evidence do you need?
hopefully ooVoo eventually comes to Xbox One as well and/or Skype comes to PS4.. Cross-console voice/video chat is almost here!!..
Now if only we can get cross-console online play.. ..
@wodan and you think the PS4 is promised to forever continue with it's hype fueled sales success?..
The PS4 has literally done nothing other than benefit from the Xbox One's mistakes in order to justify it's current sales domination.. But just like bundles and holiday advertising is temporary, so is a hype train.. PS4 had the price advantage (gone and now the PS4 actually costs more than the competition), PS4 had "resolutiongate" (almost gone, most ga...
I like the app alot.. Looking forward to seeing what they continue to do with it
Devs need to stop gimping the Xbox One versions of their multiplayer games by not using Azure Cloud servers..
Microsoft is willing to provide dedicated servers, use them!! Dont gimp the Xbox One version with P2P crap just because the PS4 version doesn't have Cloud Power!!! #XboxOneNoParity
j/k, but in all seriousness, didn't Microsoft say that any dev can take advantage of their dedicated servers if they want?.. Call of Duty: AW with dedicated serve...
So basically both games will look virtually identical (as usual).. Gotcha
For the people saying "you could always had someone come to your house locally and unlock trophies for you, this isn't a big deal, it's been possible for years" keep in mind that we could have always done EVERYTHING SharePlay is doing if we had a friend come by the house and play locally..
You can't have it both ways.. You can't hype the good sides of SharePlay as "revolutionary" and then downplay the negatives with "we've been ab...
Definitely has that "cool" factor and undoubtedly takes us a step further in terms of connected gaming.. Great job
But in the end, isn't this a glorified demo?.. Free demos for friends is indeed awesome but I think some people are going way overboard on the hype for SharePlay..
For the person who owns the game it's "oh cool, let me give my friend a try and/or do some quick co-op".. Awesome, no doubt
For the pers...
Lol, I like how you forgot to mention a features like external HDD support and MP3/video playback.. Features that are still at the top of many PS4 owners wish lists..
I also find if funny how much Sony fanboys like yourself are hyping Shareplay.. Judging from the implementation planned for Far Cry 4, it is just a glorified way to let your friends demo the game.. Sure it's co-op but it's limited to one hour.. You're hyped about letting your friend play a game fo...
Wait a minute, I thought the internet told me that DRM and "always online" was the Devil..
Oh, my bad, Sony said it this time so it's ok..
Virtually identical on both consoles.. More and more multiplatform games are reaching parity, which is a good thing for both gamers and developers.. Keeps the focus on gameplay rather than hardware specs..
And like it or not, even if it meant dropping a few frames here and there, this move was indeed to avoid more PR crap from headlines.. Had the game stayed at 900p, every headline for the next week and a half would have been "Diablo III 1080p on PS4, 900p on Xbone!!&...
The funniest thing is that the naysayers who seem to think this is the downfall of the industry don't seem to realize that Gamestop and used game sales are the downfall of the industry.. And EA Access (and hopefully other subscription services) is designed to combat Gamestop..
Tired of yearly versions of Madden, Assassin's Creed, and Call of Duty?.. Well those franchises have become annualized so that they can fund other gaming projects.. Tired of sequel after sequ...
Dude, it's optional.. If you don't like it, vote with your money and don't buy it..
I personally like the value proposition of EA Access.. I'm not someone who has to buy every single game on day one because, let's face it, games are expensive.. They cost $60 each for maybe a month of prime enjoyment.. This is why I only buy a few "must have" titles a year and end up missing out on a bunch of interesting titles that I just couldn't justify s...
So, Titanfall was just "Call of Duty with Mechs"..
Now, Call of Duty: AW is just "Titanfall without Mechs"..
Gotcha... ..
Even if I paid $30 a year for services from EA, Ubisoft, and Activision, and more it would still cost less money on average than PSNow with these prices.. Especially if we are supposed to accept that PSNow is a $30 or $40 a month service as you are implying..
1). If that's your attitude, I hope you didn't buy a PS4.. if your primary concerns are microscopic differences in graphics that you'd never notice under normal circumstances, then surely you have a high-end gaming PC so that you can enjoy the massive difference in graphics that it provides over consoles..
2). Let's not pretend that the Xbox One version isn't going to provide an identical gaming experience.. as long as game reviews and reviewers are rati...
The power of competition..
No matter who "wins" between Sony and Microsoft, the gamers are the real winners..
@maxkingoftheworld
That sword cuts both ways because Sony fanboys swear they can see every little difference between the Xbox One and PS4 versions of games but in reality every multiplatform game looks virtually identical in normal day-to-day gameplay.. the only way most PS4 fanboys "notice" any differences is after a website like Digital Foundry points it out for them.. that's a fact.. basically, if you cant's see differences in normal day-to-day play an...
Before we start stating what's "fact", let's keep in mind that all of this is pure speculation at this point.. But I will say that it is quite funny seeing PS4 fanboys pretend like they know everything that's going on behind closed doors in the engineering departments of Oculus and Microsoft..
Just the fact that Oculus games can (and will) be built using Windows 10 and DirectX 12 should be a clue.. Windows 10 and DirectX 12 are both coming to Xbox One a...
