I got the GOTY edition of Fallout 3 and it probably freezes about once every 5 hours of play, and I've notice an enemy or two fly out of the ground into the sky like a rocket, or an old rusty vehicle to 3 just suddenly crumble up into nothingness for no reason after about 65 hours of play. But considering all the griping I heard before getting the game about bugs I'm surprised how few I've actually encountered, particularly given the size of the map and all the dialogue.
Consider the fact that the PS2 had way more third party exclusives last gen and that this gen way more games are multiple platform between PS3 and 360. He's missing out a lot less than people with only an xbox last gen would be despite the fact Sony has way more first party studios.
Just trying to give folks a different perspective.
The early Resident Evil games aren't all that scary. Hell, when i was playing RE3 it was using those pop-out boo shock tactics some people complain about in Dead Space. At least Dead Space throughs in a bit of psychological horror. I'll agree with Silent Hill being superior in the scare factor though.
You forgot these parts.

I love the enrichment of the Dead Space universe. Now I want further, proper, enrichment of the ALIENS universe. No more disasters on the scale of ALIEN Resurrection.
TBH I'm kinda bummed I actually bought this. The plasma cutter is a cheap ass chinese made toy, you only get 1 art cell, and I could have easily downloaded the sound track : / I'd have been better off getting the limited edition + a $20 sac rather than the collector's edition. I was actually happier with the art book pre-order bonus from gamestop with the first Dead Space than this crap.
Yeah, the lack of voice chat totally killed the enjoyment of playing this with my friend.
Hell, I'd buy this and skip new games coming out because of the MGS' series quality. I'd trophy whore on those b!tches and complete every insane minute task requested.
Or just get this for $20 then get the game of the year edition when it eventually hits $20-30 and make a different kind of character :)
How were the servers terrible? I played TF2 on PS3 constantly lag free. Once in a while the they would be unavailable for a little bit but they worked fine when available. Despite the fact it doesn't have the thousand of players the PC version does there's always enough people to get several games going at a time.

I'm all for hacking my PS3 as I did my PSP for homebrew applications but I refuse to until this PS3 hack been been around for a while knowing extremely unlikely it'll brick my PS3 or get my PSN account banned. And don't go off assuming everyone who hacks their system is doing so explicitly for piracy, I have some killer applications on my PSP including internet radio that gets over 100 stations!
