I hope so!! I have a ton of toys to life I was keeping for my kids and I already sold my PS4... I am really hoping the peripherals work.
Does that mean DS4 will work too given it is required for lots of PSVR games?
At this point I'll take anything I can get my hands on come release day... my biggest worry is launch price :/ that beast looks pricey

I will stick to Sony next gen, I switched over for PS4 and never looked back but I do find the Forza series is handled way better in recent years than Gran Turismo. Still nowhere near enough to make me buy an Xbox but you gotta give Microsoft credit.

Not that I agree it doesnt have one but PS5 doesnt need a killer app at launch. I bought a PS4 for the types of games I like to play if I have to wait 1-2 years for an exclusive I would still buy the console right away to play any other 3rd party game I want to play.

It looks cool but I cant play like that the motion sickness is too much for my weak constitution :( only games I can stand are stationary ones like AstroBot, Moss etc

@FinalFantasyFanatic I feel your pain :( I am trying to sell every single game I own to try to reset my love of gaming by taking a break until next gen to sort out my life. If I return to gaming I believe I will buy and play only one game at a time where I will not care for price making my selection and resell once I am moving on to a new game. No point collecting most of those things devalue and lose their appeal over time.

I've reached a point in my life where I have so little time and energy left for games that looking at my games collection was making me depressed... I envy the amount of space you have in your life for videogames I wish I could have a healthy balance maybe some day I'll get back to it.
And here I am selling every single game and console I own to make room in the budget and condo for next gen lmao :D I wonder where you get the money and storage for all that but I would love to have collector friends like you so I could come over and admire your collection :)
Only game I am interested is a ME trilogy remake but I am willing to sit through 1 hr presentation of boring sports games just for that.
Totally agree. Never saw an emptier open world than BotW at least on current gen. And yeah I am tired of games that drag everything out forever even Red Dead Redemption 2 was just overwhelming for me I gave up. I love me some big budget AAA but who has 50 hrs + to sink into a game? I am willing to make an exception for one single game in my life that is TES IV =D such a long wait.
I am tempted to pre order but I really want to play on PS5. Do we know if we get the enhanced features automatically with backwards compatibility. CDprojekt has already said they would give XboxSX for free for those that buy Xbox One version but what about Playstation and Ubisoft?
@ilikestuff totally agree! Meanwhile judging from my downvotes it looks as though lots of ppl are in denial. I mean this game looks incredible and I expect the reviews to be overwhelmingly positive but I don't see why we have to restrain from making constructive criticism like this just to protect some over sensitive fanboys
I respect their creative.vision but based on the trailers it is too much for me. Even more gratiutious games don't make me feel that bad. I think it's super impressive how uncomfortable they are capable of making the violence but I also feel it's too much for me.

This! Names is a cool thing probably designed to make you feel bad for murdering them but from the trailers all npcs look the same (3-4 models keep repeating). Hopefully this will get fixed in next gen games.
