I end up playing more on PS4... But I think the Switch is such a cool console! I love the hybrid form factor. I just wish it had fewer compromises with visuals but for the portability, local coop/paryy games its amazing.
Itll cost a pretty penny for sure :(

This looks beautiful!! Looked more like real next gen gameplay then other presentations like ACV and Dirt 5 cinematic trailers.
It makes sense they gotta keep some stuff for the usual Ubisoft conference in June.
Its by far the best way to play but I would be super happy to repurchase the trilogy if they remade the games like FFVII... Obviously not gonna happen but man that would be awesome.

I agree totally they could gave showed PC footage but maybe they couldnt either due to the marketing deal with microsoft. Cant wait to see some proper next gen gameplay!!! Totally hyped for next Friday and future sony presentations.

@Obscure_Observer you have a good point about jaguar cpu holding back next gen but don't expect all third party devs to keep supporting Xbox One S & X. Microsoft said they would with their own first party but thats it. We' ll see =D

It'll never happen sadly ... In the meantime I know its not "right" but I feel no remorse whatsoever "pirating" games I legally own on other platforms.

PC digital stores have been around for 3 and soon 4 console generations. Yeah they have proven more dependable than console companies thus far.
Yes physical media is just a key to boot software that is otherwise 100% installed on the hard drive and more and more companies require downloads to either access full game or patch games to a more playable state... Instead of fixing those issues prior to going gold. The only company right now that ...
@rockwhynot I have always bought my games exclusively on console because I only buy physical games. I am running out of room now though and as I see newer physical games requiring installations from discs... Day one patches larger than most last gen games... Physical media is just a "key" to start a download/install now. Besides I have zero trust in console companies when it comes to digital media. Nintendo shut down the Wii online services... You can no longer the download the digi...
I fear one of the issues with PS5/XSX will he entry price... I mean no one knows yet but those consoles are packing serious tech. Cant imagine itll be as cheap as PS4/XBO when they came out in 2013 which was probably a part of their success.
