if japan is buying us debt then isn't japan lending the us money??? isn't this a good thing?? imagine if japan wasn't buying us treasuries/agencies.. yields would jump which would would likely result in higher borrowing cost for US citizen.. furthermore, apple, an american product is doing incredibly well in japan - even in competition with all the other japanese phone/music players
think games journalism as a whole is bad for gaming:
- spend too much time provoking gamers
- corrupt
- don't complete games for their reviews
- plagiarise
- often uneducated - in a professional manner.. i.e. career qualifications
problem is games journalism is an underpaid and easily corrupted profession dominated by fanboys or people with fanboy provoking mentality.. recipe for screwing over gamers because of their dodgy reviews.. ...
don't know but wasn't microsoft cutting prices in 2008 as sales dipped and in 2009 as sony launched the ps3 slim.. sony price cuts have come generally after new sku launches so these price cuts have generally been pre-planned.. even nintendo had a price cut because of the slim.. furthermore, sony prices have come down (ps1) even before microsoft started gaming.. price cuts and sku consoles are nothing new..

i haven't downloaded this beta but if this is a downloadable psn beta (like modnation) - not an update of the beta (i.e. updates that you must download even after you already downloaded the game) - then you can download in the background and get the ps3 to shut down automatically.
i will find out tonight when i get home so see what type of update it is but i have a feeling that it is like modnation whereby you don't have to update the beta once you downloaded it.
well as far as i am aware the beta is only downloadable but not playable so before you go to bed set it to download and switch off automatically. it's not too difficult.
okay lets create the longest list of extra features in the world; the list is as long as king kong's dong..

xbox is actually very popular in the uk.. it is one of the cheapest places in the world to buy an xbox.. you can get an xbox for around 165 usd here
