large + heavy ps3 => good ventilation system, less likely to overheat => less likely to have a warped motherboard
sometimes consoles need efficent cooling system but of course, you (being the owner an unmentionable - not naming names - console that has severe overheating problems) wouldn't know the benefit of good cooling..
as a gamer, i don't mind reviewers giving good games a low score but giving bad games a high score is the worst thing a reviewer can do.. why? because it screws the consumer - ultimately reviewers are there to look after the consumer...

this is also first generation 3d displays.. do you remember how much first generation plasmas cost?? 20k bucks.. these are also Retail recommended price so you should be able to get them 10-15% cheaper..

the reason why blu-ray was successful was because it wasn't just sony's baby.. fanboys asscociate sony with blu-ray.. but anyone who isn't a fanboy will realise that blu-ray encapsulates most of the manufacturers and producers of video content and equipment..
