The next consoles will have slightly more powerful graphics cards than XOX (around 8-10 TFLOPS), but will be paired with Ryzen based processors.

It will release when that package is available to be sold for $399/£349.

What Xbox fans want is whatever Microsoft say they want.

Fans wanted a Ryzen based CPU but now a Jaguar CPU is the best thing ever.

We can both agree that the fans didn't want an upgraded "Pro" Jaguar CPU. If you check they all wanted it based on Ryzen and said it would be.

It's easy to meet the demands of people with short term memory loss, they can't remember what they asked for.

"Online games dominate single player games this generation."

Not in my house, not by a long shot. SP games get 10x as much play as online.
I played a lot more MP games last gen.

No the CPU is garbage.

Those games would be so great with the wealth of information everybody holds.

Unfortunately computers don't run by the arbitrary notion of what you see as common sense.
Common ignorance would be more apt.

My Dad's common sense told him that drivers make your computer faster because they drive the computer at a faster speed (like a racing driver).

My friends common sense told him that RAM was a measure of a computers overall power (like oomph). Any computer with twice the RAM had twice the performance.

The CPU isn't powerful enough to run the engine at 60fps even at 1080p.

"We won't make it better on Xbox x since Sony is paying us alot"

Lol, Sony didn't pay Microsoft to put in a weak CPU. You just believed the hype and rather than admit you were mislead and lied to (and fell for it), you now imagine a conspiracy theory.

Just admit you were wrong. Microsoft lied and you were gullible enough to fall for it. You'll feel better afterwards.

The only 'parity' on show here is the parity of weak Jaguar cores.

"Or maybe, just maybe, the CPU has absolutely NOTHING to do with resolution and perhaps you're the one who needs to learn how computer work."

You seem pretty clueless. The weak CPU has everything to do with 'framerate' which is what we are talking about, not resolution at all.

What do you know?
It uses Jaguar cores and as a result has a weak CPU.
Any CPU heavy games will still struggle on the X because it is only a minor upgrade to the original CPU and the original CPU was weak.

It's a bottleneck that comes from compromises between cost and power.

They front-loaded the systems GPU to support fancy graphics over computing power. It's the right way to go on a console, unfortunately Xbox fans were exp...

They say themselves it's the engine. It's CPU bound and the modified Jaguar cores aren't beefy enough.
They went the same way as Sony and front-loaded the GPU whilst skimping on the CPU.

They aren't blaming the hardware at all. Can you read?
Bungie's engine is designed around 30fps with heavy loads on the CPU.
They are saying that their engine is not able to work at 60 f/s, whatever CPU you use and however much you turn down the resolution.

Do you want links to several thousand posts from XBox fans ridiculing checkerboarding as "nothing more than upscaling" and "fake HD"?
Many more thousands stating that the Scorpio was such a BEAST that all games would be 4k native.

Yes, those hard, mean, dangerous Nintendo fans with their Mario backpacks and fluffy Yoshi's are terrifying!

And the foul-mouthed American brotards on Xbox are just background noise, you tune them out.

It's not really an excuse though is it. The feature isn't compelling enough to necessitate making excuses.

If you play Rocket League on PS4, you don't have a clue if your opponent is on PC or another PS4.
If PC was withdrawn tomorrow you wouldn't know and would experience no change in gameplay whatsoever.

I don't know why Sony don't want to play ball, but it really isn't an issue that they don't.

It will be funny when soft, innocent Nintendo fans clash with foul mouthed brotards on Xbox.

A few years ago it was the other way around, Sony were up for cross-play but Microsoft wasn't playing ball (PS3 era).

Does it matter what machine your faceless opposition is playing on? It's only an advantage when there aren't enough online players on one system.

Bad PR for Sony though.

"Semi yearly" isn't a thing and if it were it would mean every 6 months.
