You can always find cheaper vouchers online to save £5-£10, so it isn't that expensive.
You could just have your monthly games without buying any further and it would be the cheapest way to use a console (other than FTP only which would be limiting).
You also get to play (and sometimes love), games that you may not usually try.
For someone gaming on a budget, it's a life saver, so to suggest it isn't good value is...
"It might just be the most influential demo in the history of gaming."
No, that would be the Budbrain Megademo circa 1990.
It's AMD , I don't think anyone reads the article, this is a part of the AMD roadmap, it's proven technology. If a game is programmed to support RPM, the Pro will increase hugely in performance (IF).
Really impressive, that demo more than doubles performance.
*Wrong Thread*
Who and what has it influenced and how?
I'm not being a dick, I'm genuinely curious.
Hasn't Team Soho been dissolved?
They collected so much photographic data of London to make that game, I wonder if it is still viable.
My copy erased itself entirely. I thought I was losing my mind until others stated the same.
Terrible grammar throughout the article. Sad, so sad, not successful at all, this guy is a failed journalist, my journalism is the greatest, most journalistic journalism in history, very, very successful, very successful indeed.
This is nothing but fake journalism, fake news, so sad.
Don't listen to this fake news, I will be creating my own news site, the biggest, greatest site ever.
It will bring you the real news as manipulated by me, the real me, the most h...
I've never seen a woman brought to orgasm by shampoo, nor take so long to do nothing.
"Goat Simulator" and "I am bread" are perfectly acceptable titles. I don't like "Super Meat Boy" or "Shovel Knight" but wouldn't suggest you remove them.
Choice is good, some of the most enjoyable games I've played have had poor review scores and weren't popular at all.
It's a vibrating controller, like every other rumble, it's there but it is virtually unnoticeable unless it's missing.
"HD rumble" is a bit of marketing bs, the fact that you use the term instead of just calling it rumble suggests you are susceptible to corporate manipulation.
It's speaker is the best though.
I'm not a big fan of rhythm games, but enjoyed patapon if that helps.
PS4 Pro owners aren't being held back at all. Sony clearly stated what it was and what it wasn't.
The Pro isn't a separate console and will never be the lead PS4 in development terms. Sony promised that it wouldn't compromise the standard PS4 in any way.
PS4 is the cake, Pro is the cherry on top. You don't base a cake around the cherry.
It's been a similar story with game download/install times since day one. 4-5x quicker on PS4, at least this article gives an explanation.
Dreams is something so original that it will jump right back on people's radar in a heartbeat.
You really can't compare it to traditional titles though.
I disagree, you can never have the same level of creative freedom when someone else holds the purse strings.
I hope more follow suit and we get an influx of high quality, low price games as a result.
I reckon 90-100m by PS5 launch and a further 10-15m thereafter.
I could easily write an article with the title "10 reasons the Atari 2600 is better than PS4, XBOne and Switch", you just have to find 10 differences and pretend you prefer *console of choice's* solution.
A mobile phone being required for all communications just kills any advantages outright.
It suits Microsoft to tap into Sony's huge user base, it would enable them to ensure good player numbers in more games. Microsoft wins.
Sony would lose out on sales if you could play against PS friends on your XBox. Sony lose.
If the market share were reversed, so to would be the attitudes.
