SoT is a share world multiplayer game like Destiny. Focuses more on coop non linear and non scripted sandbox emergent gameplay than cinematic linear scripted gameplay in Uncharted.
Both are very different and for different audience.
But in water SoT destroys every other game this gen so far. But overall art design is pixar / cartoony but water physics and details is fucking incredible.
Sea of thieves definitely wins. I have just played the beta and water details and physics are better than ACO as well

UC4 is static. It looks pretty but physics effects sucks. SoT water physics are way better and water also looks very real compared to overall aesthetic of the game. SoT and ACO are hands down best water in games. SoT takes the edge overall imo.

It started after EA closure of Visceral studios and changing SW into Online game. But N4G members putting blame on MS as usual. Shannon loft said SP games very much alive but economics of AAA SP games is complicated and not easy to produce compared to online games but ponies and haters taking it as MS saying SP games are dead..
Till now following SP games which were critically acclaimed failed - WD2, Prey , Dishonored 2, EW2 nd all.. So few publishers are skeptical.

Forza 7 offers 700 fully detailed cars compared to 150 cars in GTS (even when it was in development for 5 years), along with dynamic weather and 24 player races at native 4k60fps on One X and 1080p60fps on weak base Xbox one.. Forza 7 also offers almost double the content with more tracks

I don't like super linear games. Player freedom very important me. I prefer non linear SP games.
Exclusives problems will end when - Initiative, Ninja Theory, Playground games second team, Undead Labs , Coliation, T10, Compulsion games and 343 all will work under new management head by Phil Spencer. OG Xbox era(era before 360) will return soon when these talented studios will start shipping their games.
