The3faces well they'd make sure to have a performance mode that's for sure. There's nothing in this game that says it's only capable of 30 fps, especially if the Series S is getting 30.
I do, I've even tempted for a while, you can get a powerful laptop for a good price now. A laptop can stamp all over the new consoles for under 1000. (it's for work before the get a desktop comments). I currently use the Xbox Cloud there and remote play on PS. Just wish they let you actually play games over the cloud too like you can on Gamepass.

We've already seen from the massive amount of footage there's loads of huge areas to explore.

There isnt a game as big but again if a game has to load it's irrelevant how big it is because it isn't one entity. No one would expect it to be because of all the planets but that means it not having 60 fps is a dumb argument because it's literally no different than any other open world game. The world loads as you're there, you're playing in one world at a time.
Most of them? If it was seamless then I'd get it. It's not. Each planet loads. You're telling me this is as graphically intensive as things like Forbidden West? It isn't. And like I've just said yes it would be 60, because they always have performance modes on release . It can't be a coincidence that MS's big two releases this year are locked to 30. And it's not as if they are game-changing graphically.
It wouldn't because they wouldn't have to account for the underpowered Series S. When is the last PS only next gen game that was 30 fps? There isn't one because they always have a performance mode. If this game can run 4k/30 it absolutely could run at 1080/60. It's just laziness
No it isn't. Stop excusing mediocrity, youre allowed to say bad things about Xbox sometimes. This game looks no better than any AAA game but yet they run at 60+. If it can be 30 on the S it can be 60 on the X, they just can't be bothered, the same as Redfall. Forbidden West had 60 fps day one, which is the better looking game? Xbox keeps touting this worlds most powerful console but their big 2 releases this year are locked to 30? If it was a seamless world then I'd expect the 30 ...

It doesn't though. Far from it. It did a year ago sure. And that's coming from someone with Gamepass. PS Extra/deluxe shines at half the price. And I'll happily pay for PS games because I know I'm getting quality. There's no point something going free on Gamepass and it being poor.
