Expected the gamepass increase but the console increase is shocking. MS don't need the money so why make yourselves look like idiots and annoy your fans by raising the price when they're cheaper to manufacture now. The funniest part was raising it in Japan, where they can't shift them as it is 😂
FFXV was panned even before release, this has had nothing but praise ever since previews. I wouldn't worry too much about it being like 15

If it has a good saving its a good offer. I'd still never be tied to a digital console though. Definitely a great console for a kid though. Introduced my friend to PS Premium when it was on sale last year as she was spending loads on games for a kid. Not needed to buy one since as it has 900+ games
It's not really about 8K though, 8K is utterly pointless and a waste of resources. It's about better frame rates and better Ray Tracing. It's not the popular opinion but my console is approaching 3 years old, I'd definitely trade in for one so I can use my 120hz monitor more effectively
No they don't, they have a digital version which is the exact power of the non-digital version.

@lucky trouble I mean it's the same with every new gen isn't it, that's just marketing. What they did wrong was marketing the Pro as a 4k console because let's be honest it wasn't. At least this time they couldn't do cloak and daggers
To be fair you don't have to buy it, if people who want a more powerful console want to upgrade it's their money. Your own personal PS5 experience doesn't change whether it exists or doesn't exist

at 30? I'm running Ragnarok at 100 and Burning Shores at 80. Stop with these free passes. If you're telling me Starfield has more going on to put it at 30 (when each planet loads separately) and doesn't look as graphically intensive as BS, you're talking nonsense.
Because I can't remember the last time a demo of a game has been this well received and we're in 2023, unfortunately we rarely get demos of AAA games, SE already slipped up massively with Forspoken and I'm glad they learnt a lesson.

Also, PS gets sales. My Premium was 30% off that figure and any smart person should be buying yearly when a good sale is on. Unless I'm mistaken MS doesn't do GP sale prices? 950 games vs 400 at way under half the price. It's fast becoming a bargain.
