I mean they would, because a lot of people have had 25 years of great service. They aren't suddenly going to switch to Xbox because exclusives don't exist. Why would they? They'd stay on the console they grew up with.

That would be interesting if it was correct. How many are paying 14.99? My Ultimate was 100 for 3 years with the gold upgrade trick. You realise how many are actually doing that when it costs 5 times less. Plus 30 million don't have ultimate, what about the cheaper tier. And what about Microsoft rewards? You can literally earn your GP cost every month doing those. That 449m is absolutely nothing like you think

This is what makes me wonder about Xboxes system. This is only 2 games, which with advertising I assume is $500m+, and Halo Infinite was over 500m too, a billion total in 3 games. The PS games sold the numbers to recoup that...But if they're day one on Gamepass, how is it recouped. Their revenue was 16b, but whats profit? If its 2 billion, that's half your profit in 3 games (providing profit is $2B which I doubt with paying for all the games on GP), how are all these 'free' AA...

@crazyCoconuts I played Forza for 4 hours and I barely noticed any slowdown and no disconnects. I'll give them their due it works really well. Not sure if that's because I have a decent mobile connection though
I stream Xbox at work on my phone. It works really well tbh. I've said for ages I wish PS had something similar
I actually prefer it. I find switching being different characters an annoyance in an action RPG. Much better to concentrate on the one character like other ARPGs
The Saturn was a great console it was just killed by their pricing. Great library
It's been great month on month to be honest. Even a day one game last month which ee don't expect

Sony money hatted? Square Enix went directly to Microsoft and Sony. MS have 10x the money of Sony, if they wanted it they get it but they don't give a crap about JRPGs
Still doesn't make it better. That's literally the only thing propping it up now. In the past PS service was vastly inferior but now the only advantage MS has is a few day one games. Just isn't worth it anymore and that's from a GP subscriber.
