Right but that isn't the console cost is it. You're getting a $200 controller, another controller as well and a bunch of extras on top and the package is only $999. Now subtract the $300+ of extras from that and see what comparable gaming PC you're getting for $650
And the few hundred thousand regular pros too 🙃
Hm doesn't always work that way in the UK at least. Unless you have a well paid job you won't be paying into a pension and you're left with the government one which doesn't even cover the bills. The ones who haven't worked get the same amount on pension but they actually get more benefits such as free dental, eyes so are better off than the people who worked.
Is it really a cash grab if they don't make any money on it though? Sure in a couple of years when it can be made cheaper, not right now.
Really don't understand how backwards you have to be to make a decision like this. Most people will have got this game when it was given free. The amount who are now going to buy it at 40 is incredibly minimal. Its not worth the few sales at 40 to give yourself this negative publicity.

They can price the Pro high because it isn't needed to play any games and they don't need people to adopt it for software sales, where as the PS6 they need the numbers on the console to sell the games. Doesn't change whether someone has a 5 or a 5 Pro.
Forbidden west is the one for me. I remember getting up to 100 fps and it looked great. I bet we are looking at PSSR 4K/120 given how great the frame rate already was. That's absolutely being given another playthrough on my TV at some point
