I'm aware of what I said, the difference is this is like releasing a game 2 years ago, stopping the sales of it and releasing it again for a higher cost. I said people should be paid for their work - it's costing less to design so how does a price increase go against what I said...
This is ridiculous. They have always been sold at a loss. Since release 2 years ago graphics cards are now in less demand and are cheaper, and the price of SSDs has plummeted. There's zero reason to do this. Consoles aren't costing more to produce than 2020. It's an awful business decision when Microsoft aren't.
Guess it's finally time to replace my day one controller. Finally back buttons!
I do think we will see a pro version. I really can't see then waiting 7-8 years lately with how much more powerful the recent graphics cards compared to the last 15 years improvements. But 8K is completely pointless. More fidelity and frame rates at 4K are needed. Something you can actually see.
You forgot to deduct the Nintendo points. Great games but some of those absolute aren't a near perfection 97
Supply seeme to be finally outweighing demand in the UK. If the situation is like that worldwide should start to see some true numbers
Glad the 3 click is there, never enjoyed swinging using the analog. It'd be nice if there's some stat customisation this time. Having your golfer with exactly the same stats through the whole game gets tiresome. I miss the old TW games I guess.
@kimbomma1 because it's unnecessary. Collectibles are different. To expect someone to play through the game and story they've just played through again is pointless.
Managed to get it for £55 in the UK. Shouldnt really pay anything after the resale when I'm done. I'm excited to play it now, hopefully it feels fresh as it's been 5 years since I did last.
Again, any proof? You can literally search Google by date? Anyone can make claims but no one else apart from you seems to have heard about that? And when you're asked for proof, "I can't be bothered looking".
I've not played it for many a year so I'm looking forward to seeing how it is. I've certainly done my fair share of criticising it so it'd be hypocritical for me to not at least give it a go. It's short enough to play and sell. I don't mind a £10-15 outlay to experience it.
I don't think it's unnecessary. I'm in the camp that people should actually be paid for their work. I remember paying 70 for a game in the early 90s and they're still 70 when they cost 100x to make what they did then. You go cinema and spend 20 for 2 hours but people whine about getting a 50 hour game that you can sell afterwards for most of the cost back. With inflation we'd be paying 140+ I think we still have it pretty good.
I've gotta say, I did play the PS4 version day one and it was glitchy but I still found a little enjoyment. This looks really good though. Credit where it's due finally
One of my favourites. Can't believe there hasn't been a new one. Even bought the US version to get the trophies again 😂
It doesn't need to though. It just needed to be better. And a couple of months in it's already far better than it was
Tbh HDR 600 is pointless. May as well just pay £300 or so than 900 for slightly better HDR. Still get the multiple HDMI 2.1 ports and 4K/144hz.
To be fair they are now. Well getting there anyway. In the UK they can be had for around £300
They didn't exist though. PS now had a few hundred. And how did they remove more games than they added when there's around 300 more games than there were before. They removed a lot of filler crap and are adding some great full series of games onto the service.. the service has only just started and its already promising.
I think it's great. I now have 800 possible games and it cost me 30 for 8 months. And I got Stray included which I'd have paid that 30 to purchase anyway.
I can't believe people even thought that MS would raise the price. Hands down the dumbest move I've seen from Sony in years. Hopefully all the backlash makes them rethink because they'll end up losing money not making it.
