Requiem was awesome. The only complaints were the frame rate tbh. Thankfully I have a 120hz TV so playing it at 40 with motion blur off was very playable.
A big reason for replacing my day one PS5 was the lower energy consumption. New warranty was the other reason
What a load of nonsense. Their release schedule is stacked and they've just released 5 or 6 games within the last couple months.
Hopefully it's before it goes gold so any serious criticisms can be corrected
Sorry what? Fable isn't out for years and hellblade doesn't have a release date. I'm not even bothering to Google the release date of the others with how misinformed you are. Especially with you saying it's a GOW killer when the first blew no one away

If an 87 rated game is a travesty, sure 🙃. Just because they made mistakes with the microtransactions didn't affect the core gameplay. It didn't stop you doing anything in game.
I do and I don't. I don't consider it the same experience waiting 4 years for it.
And this is why I'll always have a playstation. You literally don't get these experiences anywhere else.
@thesoftware730 but it isn't 17 mill x 6. That's in 2 years so working it your way it'd be 8.5 x 6. They'll obviously sell more than that but your math is off
Doubt it tbh. The 360 was considered very successful and only had 84m and that was against a very poor starting PS3 and a full year when they were the only next gen console available. They're on 17 now in 2 years. 80+ in the next 6 or 7 or so seems unlikely.
Legit. Because of the Yazuka series it makes me want to visit Kabuchiko, stay in the hotel on theatre ave and go to some of the locations I see on the game.
Japan is becoming far more of a handheld/mobile country. But it also doesn't help that both their main franchises (DQ and FF) haven't had an entry on the PS5 yet.

It wouldn't surprise me to be honest. But bringing out pro model would free up the regular PS5 for others. Although by the time that would be out there will be no stock issues anyway.
You're right. Before I would have turned my nose up at 40 but it's very playable and the exact middle point between 30 and 60 fps. If they do start to push the consoles hard I'd hope the 30 fps ones do have a 40 fps mode. Although I'd hope they just have a lower res option at 60 instead
After all the flak Sony got for raising the console price I'm surprised MS are even thinking about it. They're cheaper to make than they were 2 years ago it just isn't necessary. Especially from a $2 tril company. They made some good strides lately especially with Sony being lees consumer friendly of late. This would be a big step back.

Whys that? Because I actually want to see people paid for their work (within reason) compared to waiting for years for it at $10. If time an effort is put into something and it shows you're damn right I'll be there day one.
@surgicalmenace erm...what? No it wasn't an issue (for me) that's why I said thankfully I have... now other people who can only run it at 30 that's where a lot of the complaints were. And showing off my TV? Well it's a monitor I used the wrong word and it was only 299 so I don't thing that warrants showing off tbh it didn't exactly break the bank 🙃
