Err well PS5 will be an actual next gen console.. Won't it instantly be better than XboneX? Also, including a 4K Bluray drive that CAN take advantage of the extra storage for games would be handy, otherwise its pretty pointless including that.

It has to be. You would think GAMES on Xbox were a step forward for gaming on Xbox. Not a gimmicky FORCED menu function that got tiresome in early 2009.
That's actually true. Phil also saw the potential in Singstar, Eyetoy and Buzz which helped sell millions upon millions more PS2 consoles in Europe. When he tried to tell Sony/PlayStation Japan and US that they should release the games there too, they laughed and said nobody would sit around a console to play games like that.
When the Wii launched and changed everybody's opinion on what a "casual console" was to the masses, he was very bitter over it.
The Steam version may even be transferable to GOG one day too ^_^
