It flew under your radar because this game was announced over half a decade ago. Actually now I think of it it, it was revealed at the VGAs 2011 right alongside The Last of Us lol.
Lol you need the hug since you clearly made it out THIS is all you live for now hahaha. How about Crackdown 3? You still stoked to be getting the "superior version of that game" for what it is? XD
@BioNeo Cool, so yous will buy Gears of War 4 now then???
You, like so many, forget a major thing when it comes to saying "run games at 60fps". It needs to run at a locked 60fps under the most stressing of times e,g, lots of players on screen at once and particles and explosions going off. If it can't reach that on XboneX, then IT CAN'T "DO 60FPS" in that particular game consistently enough for it to be a viable standard.
Unless of course you actually think its okay for it to run at a locked 60fps only when you ...
@Sharky231 And standard Xbone :( :( :(
@Invader Remember? Its hard to forget when they did it only 3 weeks ago again to show off games "running on XboneX" LOL.
@-Foxtrot Haha I agree. My Crash N Sane Trilogy copied arrived today and when I fired it up I was gobsmacked by the Activision logo. Now THERE is something I haven't seen in 10 years since Call of Duty 4 lol.
Still, on a positive note, I've now seen the Activision logo, in a game I am actually playing, more times this gen than the EA one.
I would take a remake of Diddy's Kong Quest too.
YES. Hopefully we will get an announcement at PSX 2017 :)
Ireland is Crash country too ^_^
@Septic No, people just don't like playing old, unnecessary overhyped games like Phantom Dust even when its free apparently (seriously, had to google the name of it yet AGAIN). There is a big difference.
Same here, I would take Spyro over Crash any day (although I loved J&D more than Ratchet and Clank then). I think the reason Spyro holds up so well is due to that insane technique Insomniac used on PS1 hardware where you can see everything far off in the game with no horrible draw distance clipping in place at all. The closer you get to things in Spyro, the more the textures and colours fill in on them seamlessly.
Not so sure about Tomb Raider though. There are certain parts with the Crash remake where they had to revamp the controls a bit like the bike riding levels. Tomb Raider would look silly with a human chracter moving the way she does in those older games. Even the geometry of the levels would need a massive overall and this is evident from the TR Anniversary game.
I would love this Crash remake to be brought to other cartoonish looking games though like Gex, Croc, Jersey Devi...
I agree although the music in "Spyro 4" was still done by Stewart Copeland of The Police and so at the music was still great. :)
Mine was Twisted Metal even though it was much bigger in the US and I am Irish lol.
Games Have Been Underwhelming This Generation............ if you DON'T primarily game on PS4.
You forgot Horizon Zero Dawn and Persona 5. Something all the games have in common though? All playable on PS4.
Instead of hitting that disagree button, why not try actually coming up with WHY you disagree with him. Face it, you got nothing and like others said, he is fairly spot on.
@yellowgerbil You know what is amazing about this website? All the disagrees you got but not ONE person actually challenged you and your sound practical points. Which shows even more how right you are.
Well that or the pathetic "have you nothing better to do like playing games like I clearly am not doing right now" excuse. Oh sorry nativegoku already beat me to it lol. There is always one............. or 50.
Err does he know Sony is releasing that game that uses smart phones as controllers to EVERYBODY this week who have PS Plus??? If that doesn't aim to the core gamer I don't know what does.
