Don't forget to say that when Switch sales are through the roof and annihilate sales of the "beast" with the new Mario game's launch.
Of course, there won't be a peep then. ^_^
When you are starving, even a plain cracker is the best damn cracker you've ever had in your life.
Who depends on "exclusives only"? We all know its great exclusives AND great 3rd party support that wins at the end of the day.
Haven't watch a single piece of footage of this game in 2 years. I knew by screenshots alone it was looking bleak. Now with this I HAD to check it out to see how this game is faring in the facial animations dept.
I wasn't let down. Just horrendous, horrible facial animations and voice acting AND sound direction, all at the same time. Its still shaping up to be a beautiful train wreck.
@darthv72 Remember this earlier in the week? http://n4g.com/news/2090687...
You: "It kind of makes you wonder if they have something really big planned for this November besides the release of the X and CD3. "
Is delaying Crackdown 3 the kind of big plan for November you were thinking of??? Do you still thin...
@darthv72 "big planned". Well they delayed Crackdown 3, is that big enough plans for November for you lol?
@Genkins No it isn't. It got delayed with a placeholder time frame that can go all the way to the end of at least April that is potentially 5 months away if it DOES make its "Spring 2018" date.
LOL and how can a game get high scores "BECAUSE of a delay". Care to explain how Crackdown 3 can turn EVERYTHING around with your 16 week delay?
I agree with the author with the part where he says Knack 2 isn't a huge improvement over the original. I don't know know why all the Previews out there are saying that it is.
However I completely disagree with the views on the original game being a "bad" game. It's fine. I thought the story was fine, presentation and loading times were excellent, platforming is fine.
And the sequel looks more of the same, that is only €35, and that is just ...
Halo 6 looks set for a 2018 release if it's usual 3 year cycle is anything to go by.
Even Gears 5 could drop next year, how hard will it be to make a another Gears game that follows the exact same linear formula as last gen now that they got used to the Unreal 4 engine and how to make a Gears game.
Makes sense, the only reason it isn't on PS4 so far is no early access program.
It would also be silly of the developers to not allow their biggest potential fan base from playing the game, literally millions who got to play their last game, Contrast, with PS Plus at PS4's launch.
And without Mario, New Super Luigi Bros U is still just Mario. We are blowing minds today.
What is delaying it going to do? Could you explain? Are they going to integrate NaturalMotion that GTA and The Forced Unleashed games use to make the characters actually move like humans because their feeble attempts at animation have been abysmal so far?
@niko04 Lol The Last of Us is the pinnacle of last gen. TLOU is insane when compared to just about every single game released on 360/PS3 and even PC up until 2013.
Crackdown 3 does not fall into the same category on any kind of level. It doesn't even beat TLOU on PS3 in technical terms and accomplishment lol.
Actually it does have one thing going for it, just like TLOU during development, Crackdown 3 doesn't look like its suffers any massive framerate problems or har...
@DevilOgreFish Its even funnier how you mention FFVII remake, another game along with Shenmue 3 that were announced A YEAR AFTER Crackdown 3's debut lol.
Try and use better examples next time guys. Deep Down is a good enough example but we need the game to reappear from obscurity first (like Crackdown 3 did at E3 2017), get a brand new solid release date and THEN get delayed, you know, like a true train wreck.
Oh yeah because all the articles since E3 2017 have constantly been talking about how "this game seriously needs to be delayed and then it will be absolutely fine and worthy of being called a current gen game".
The game doesn't look like it has serious optimisation problems or horrendous glitches or crashes. Its just overall underwhelming and the only thing that will fix that is going right back to the drawing board and throwing out everything.
Again, what is your beef with Nintendo and their dashboards guys???
Its time ND abandon Uncharted after just releasing their probable last Uncharted game? No shit.
Meh, its an okay score. At least it didn't take 6 years to make and still ended up being way more mediocre like Quantum Break or something.
So, still a 2d platformer Mario game then, exactly.
